We're still looking into this, and don't have an update beyond what we posted last week when these issues were first reported. We do have our Engineers and more working on this -- it's a priority and we're working to get it resolved as soon as possible. We know it's very frustrating. As soon as we have more info to give you, we'll post it in this thread.

DB caused several CTD for me, but my other concern is that it now takes about 45 sec to a full minute to load NPC's in ANY zone. It seems the NPC Collison is in place but they are completely invisible otherwise for a good minute. In addition, the quest arrows/circles/etc helpers are also taking upwards of a minute or two to update as you proceed through quest phases. And when I pull up my map to look at the quest objectives they do not show up about half the time. Finally, I am finding that I will take a few steps after entering a zone and get the splash screen again sometimes two or three in a row again this is in ANY zone, not just gold Coast and high traffic areas. There was a definite spike in the previous issues during pri.e time yesterday, however these issues appear more bug related than lag related, it was no where near like this when TG released in March on day one. Thanks again for the great content, it is amazing work! Just wanted to let you guys be aware of possible bugs.
Thank you, @beepbrockb14_ESO. We're forwarding these additional call-outs to the Dev team to look into as well. It sounds like everything above started after the Dark Brotherhood update?

No. It did NOT start with the dark brotherhood update. It began before that, in a milder form, intermittently affecting some but not all.
Some people in one of my guilds were crashing in Elden root when trying to pick up or turn in undaunted pledges. At that time I saw long, then longer, then super long delays in the changing of black silhouettes to armor as well as the appearance of the banker npc's in the tree and in the rawl'ka bank taking long / longer / super long. As in, put the controller down for a bathroom break and the banker hasn't appeared yet when I return type of 'super long'. There were several times I saw horrible reductions in frames per second in the crafting area of Elden Root, when there were like 50 people spamming area effects.
This was weeks before the dark brotherhood hit the Xbox. So expand your consideration beyond just that update.

For some odd reason it only crashes on my Champion Rank 160 characters, but never on my characters under level 50. Every time I try to get on my Woodelf Nightblade it crashes no matter what, and I can't play her at all.
The other odd thing is I keep getting a "Champion Rank 160 Reward" mail spammed to all my characters after I crash, so I literally have to delete my mail several times.
This absolutely did NOT start last week. It may be affecting many more folks after the DB update but these reports have been around these forums since at LEAST the Orsinium update.

enemy NPCs don't even show up so I hope you've got aoe's until they finally do pop into existence. I'm literally jabbing thin air. thank goodness for combat text for console!!!
even regular NPCs, no matter where you go, now spawn in the exact same way the undaunted quest-givers do when there's a million people chilling at the enclave.
I'm on occasion gap-closing off the map, hit a loading screen, then come back free falling through the map. then another load screen and BAM... I'm dead somewhere where completely random in mid air at a location completely off the grid.
and how about those gap closers? wow has taking keeps gotten a complete makeover.. why seige? anyone w/ a gap closer and just skip the first wall. just don't kill those mageguards!!!
grouping tool might as well not even be in the menu. "estimated >1hour". that's some incredible patience to sit around n wait for that to pop...
I'm holding my 2h like a bow, and my bow like a 2h. i can only "fix" that by wearing that assassin personality (which by the way runs around like some cliche superhero).
for the first time, in my own experience anyways, i'm even crashing to dashboard during load screens and even character select!!!
I skip to the lou in maelstrom. frame rates drop like its a new fad. 1 frame here, 1 frame there.. dead. i kept pushing through it though... btw thanks for the permafrost pieces.... <.<
unusually long load time is more op than it ever was. rushing to defend a keep under attack? good luck with that. by the time you get there, the few that made it will have already wiped, and the keep will have already turned.
some players still show up invisible on my screen. hope they don't die because I can't revive them.
health bars are a disaster in group pvp. they look like the NYC skyline. i burn through so much extra magicka thinking people are about to die. as a healer, its a friggin nightmare. oh man.. and those health desyncs? insta-death from 80% health, but kill feed is filled w/ a bunch 2-5k hits. i've grown accustomed to snipes doing that (which are still stacking and hitting me multiple times within the same second), but now it just happens on the regular regardless of the ability used.
entire groups are literally DC'ing during seige. we charged the final keep last night going for the depose, and I kid you not... 12 people DC'd at the exact same time. and thats only one of multiple mass dc's that happened throughout the night. I've even watched entire groups seemingly frozen in time while they get dumped on by those fortunate enough to still be in the game.
when we get back from mass dc's, we couldn't pass the crown back to the original leader. instead it played a never ending game of roulette, randomly passing crown around. and to top it off..whoever did have the crown, couldn't even disband it.
ah, and to my daggerfall brethren... how about that High Rock, huh? don't make any sudden movements.. you'll dashboard in a jiffy. it's always a risk turning in those bounties.
my character locks in place during dungeons, and then just starts to slide through the map to a location i was just at prior...then it just snaps back in place.
we all know the tragedy that is wrothgar (RIP). im literally in fear every time I have to turn in my writs. there's no guarantee I'm going to make it to that stable. in fact..I haven't even did any writs as of recently because there's so many cases of people stuck in the void.
theres so many other issues, it's downright depressing. I just had to let this out one good time so I'm sorry for the rant. I absolutely love this game. ive played it since its release on console, but in it's current state... this has got to be the WORST performance I've ever had to bare witness to. I'm legitimately considering just giving this all up purely out of frustration. all this solely on xbox, too. I've seen some much more crazy stuff going down on PC... limitless ulti's being dropped by anti-gravity players. my goodness... what have you done?
