I don't think you were rude. Did you bail on them because of the attitude or because you had to go though? Wouldn't judge either way but I'd have stayed and soloed the boss just for the kicks

You weren't "nice" in the common definition of some people either though. But imo neither was the other person, even if they thought they were.

Maybe I'm missing something, but her non-crit BoLs are healing you more than yours are healing her. Only your self-heals from BoL are higher.

Edit: In fact, her BoL healed you more than your own did.

Yes she was apparently full heals and I was dps spec'd at the time so that was why I was asking for us to switch.

i would run with you any day, i don't dungeon run due to morons like that. I don't mind if i need to change rolls in the middle of everything if it will make the fight easier. You where not rude sadly the person you where with wanted to be the "best" and did not like what you told him so he lashed out like a spoiled brat.

I totally agree with you but to be honest I had to focus more on healing then dps with the group anyways so we didn't really have much actually dps being applied on the bosses. Also the lack wanted to coordinate for what I though still think would've been better results, if not a easy clear. Add all that and actual guild mates wanted me to run HRC which we did and cleared btw vs dealing with that situation any longer with that random group.

Again not trying to justify leaving them mid dungeon. I just though at the time it was for the best since there too much animosity between members in a not so successful hotjoin group.Which is why I'm here right now asking the community for their honest opinion about the way I handled that whole situation.

what that looks like to me is the heals that you hit yourself with were the main BOL heals and the last one on the list was the secondary(5462)...all the heals they landed on you were secondarys (6499) ...meaning the other persons heals actually were stronger than yours ...which means yeh you were very rude and possibly very wrong.

Indeed, part of the reason I don't want to see other players numbers or have them see mine. Misinterpretation is too easy.

I think measuring whose BoLs hit harder is stupid. Who in their right mind just spams BoLs?
Healing is much more than just those crits, usually theyre high enogh to fully heal an ally anyway.
I would understand if they were talking about SPC/WH and stuff like this, but BoLs???

You know what after looking back on that situation you are more then likely right. I was being rude to him, instead of trying make that dungeon work and spent that 30 minutes in the vet pledge I didn't even needed, I should have done what most would have done and turn head and left group after first 2 wipes at first boss, instead of doing what I thought at the time was the kind thing to do and try to stick it out and "tried" to force it to work..

Again I thank you for clearing that situation I will make sure first chance I get to try to make amends with the group in question. Yes as you so pointed it out I totally over stepped my boundaries, and let my hubris upset another person. I should've just left way back when but hind sight is always 20/20.

On more time thank you for helping me correct my actions for future situations like so.

If any members of said group sees this on behalf of myself I formally apologize for my actions in that group, I was wrong.

If your first post was genuine and not sarcastic(the "if I was rude" question) by the way, it gains you some serious respect points, for what that's worth. Because most people wouldn't bother.

The fact this even happens is sad (I am talking about whining and pointing fingers at people in a group)

This kinda stuff right here makes me glad i left the game, and I have every single no death perfect run achievement for every single group dungeon in the darn game...this is just pathetic to treat people this way.

Remember that next time you drop a group because in reality your just a quitter....a winner finds a way to to overcome challenges regardless of the roadblocks in front of him....i took 3 pugs though Vet WGT two months ago their very first run with no TS and only died 3 times the whole fight...again...i found ways to make up for what they didn't know, I found ways to motivate them to get it done...i don't drop failure at the feet of others, I drop failure at my own feet.

There is simply no justifiable reason to ever treat people this way, none...its absolutely classes.

Sigh...OP you weren't rude, it's just some people are incapable of understanding there may be someone out there with more experience or straight up a better build....the math doesn't lie. I feel like that person would sink with a ship because their job was to steer, but grabbing a life vest is too far outside of the job role -_-

Again not to beat a dead horse down but you are right I should not treat people this way. Also on another note I highly disagree with the middle of your statement at some point something just have to give, and instead of choosing to miss the completed HRC guild run I had, just to stay with said group and be absolutely hating my gaming life for the next 2 or 3 hours or so on in there. I made the choice of fun over misery in a game, which I should have done from the get go. Oh and btw the way if you think our HRC run went completely smooth you would be mistaking we had about 3 or so people in that run from guild who was doing it for their first time. But we cooperated with each other and persevered in spite of the 3 or 4 wipes we had at last boss and the ones in between..

That other person might be not the best healer, but BoL crits do not prove anything. I can also pick a ritual mundus, 100 points in Blessed and spam BoL on an argonian dk tank with 5/5 heavy and coagulating blood active who would stand inside my purifying ritual for ridiculously high BoLs, but its kinda pointless and wont prove that my healing became better compared to my normal setup. Actually, for unexperienced healer with suboptimal build spammingf BoL is the best way to run out of magicka and cause a wipe.
And if I had 2 ppl in group who can either heal or dps, I would ask the one with higher spell dmg/crit to dps. Cause healing springs/repentance/whatnot work fine even with low stats.

P.S. When measuring your BoL keep in mind that one of BoLs might actually hit a person with +% healing reecieved.
