You get shield stacking and physical resist? Magicka sorcs are going to be the number one class come TG drop.

With the damage mitigation of a tank, you don't need strong damage shields anymore.

gogo magblades with the stamina damage gutting... now they are no longer tied with magicka sorcs as best and have left everyone behind.

I guess their response will be poorly worded essays explaining how "hey look at that stamina blade over there!!!!" are the problem and magblades are actually a little weak and need some help (but they do fine because they rock).

Thought the reduced damage income only works if shields are off or am I wrong? But yeah, it's still a huge buff for magicka players.

No, you are right.

you still have to kill them with shields down and now that's going to be harder.

Versus other stamina builds it will be even worse, mostly because they can afford to go all in on physical damage resist now.

I don't think a magicka build could possibly have the points to do it. With 184 points to split amongst bastion and all the new goodies in the lady and whatever else they might need (healing and spell resists).
