I don't really feel alienated. I use potions frequently and have found ways to min/max my passives with armor and the CS stars. It works for me as I am a Lieutenant rank on my Argonian NB and a Major rank on my Argonian Templar.

But if you wanna talk about under powered and aliened, try being an Argonian Nightblade pre 1.5. ;)

Lol I just think the effectiveness of some of the builds allow min/max the best compared to others due to choice of class but most of all magicka. To be an effective one it seems magicka is the way to go I run two stamina and one magicka but rarely get the chance to see anything under v15 to try things out on. I killed a lvl 10 once. But the regen and maxes on other races too high what numbers are they looking at cause I still see high 10s in red blue and green.

Well if your toons are VR1, I wouldn't go comparing apples to apples juuust yet. I have 2 VR16 Argonians, if we're built right for whatever class we choose we can still handle our own pretty well in PvP. We just lack any race passive to a resource regain/max % resource. I make up for that for abusing the potion buff we get. I have an alchemist on one of my Argonains and the return on resources when we pop a potion is pretty noticeable, even a little more so with the CS star Nourishing. If you dump 100 points into Quick Recovery its like 26% healing done to yourself + the Argonain passive. Coupled with Thief and good spell crit you can power heal yourself pretty well in PvP. PvE you can 1-shot full heal yourself with a crit heal.

Same could work well with puncturing sweeps and add magic damage for both NB and Temp.

Yes, that's correct. The heal ticks off of Magicka Sweeps have synergy with the Argonain passive and Quick Recovery. It is an amazing combo.

That is correct. If you look here you can see the buffs. Quick Recovery focus' only on your survival. The cool part-- its a Warrior point. So you can build a healer to have 100 Quick Recovery, AND have 100 Blessed [Blessed is increase heal to others]. To have some really big heals with the right gear set up.

I just don't see if maybe its cause I run builds that haven't optimized the quick recovery or what not, just seems like racial passives would make all the difference in a 1/on 1.

We suck our racials are terrible. From Open Beta we were promised better racials but ours are still by far the worst by far. Our health bonus isn't even the same as the Nords.

I like the agonian race and play one in ever elder scrolls game but hate the fact our racials are the worst which gives us a disadvantage in PvP and end game. Maybe one day we will get decent racials but still waiting.

    1) I think Argonians should have the best regeneration of all races period. That has always been their theme.
    2) They need something to represent their stealth.
    3) I don't think they should be as physically imposing as Nords, Imperials, Orcs (Ie: raw Health) but I could see them having a nice balance of bonuses.

I've always liked the idea of a sneaky nightblade argonian healer with a lot of life and shields. Could help the team and then bounce and sneak away if things get hairy.

They should have some killer combat health regen and stealth bonuses though. Maybe some elemental resist passives as well. (5-10-15%)

If you roll around and manage your resources well its theoretically manageable and players should be able to play with you but som many min and max their elf that they suck the dynamics of the game out.

All healing received bonuses stack be it dk passives, mundus stone, gear, skills and champion points. It also stacks with blessed but note healing received only counts towards yourself, just in case you're unaware.

Then you have to take into account how powerful the heal is combined with your healing received percentage and if you happen to have points into blessed. PC player's can figure it out better though because of add ons.

i want to play as an argonian, but the racial passives..... /sigh

I am a very casual player, but when I chose a race I want it to benefit me in some way in PvP. Bretons get extra spell resistance, altmers extra regain, wood elf and khajit extra stealth ability, you get what i mean im sure. Argonians get a tiny bit of extra potion effectiveness, some poison resistance(which is an uncommon damage type in my experience) and a little bt better healing. That is nothing compared to what other races get:(

While NBs were more broken than functional up to 1.5, Argonian NBs could build for potion use and be pretty powerful. 15 second potion cooldown with 45% stronger potions, which at the time also buffed damage and crit buffs by 45%.

Now I know this is pve, but I don't really have someone to test this with. (Plus I'm still fighting rng for the Parish set in the live game.) So if anyone is willing to help me test this, I'd appreciate it.

The Gear I'm using: 5p Julianos Heavy. 5P Mark of Pariah. Dual wield Mealstorm sword. (They stack.) And a mealstorm Restro staff.

The Cp I was using is putting all of my 300p into Mp cost reduction and more regen, and more healing received.

This isn't my perfect build -I wanted the reinforced and the defending traits.- But you get what they give you.

Argonians should have the same stealth dmg passive as khajiit/bosmer... The whole guerrilla warfare thing is written into their lore.

Also either change the potion passive to the same 12% max health modifier as imperial or split 6/6 health and another resource so maybe the increased healing received matters

    And/Or

Give them 20% healing received, so it's like bosmer stam regen, it gives them something niche.

Keep in mind a lot of players don't have the Explorer pack and are limited to the race options for their faction. DC and AD each have the strongest magicka build races (Breton, Altmer) as well as excellent stamina build races (Redguard, Bosmer, Khajiit, Orc).

It may not quite be as lore-friendly, but EP is seriously lacking when it comes to strong magicka build races, and Argonian is the best option at the moment other than Dunmer magicka DK.

Would be nice to see this aspect further buffed somehow, perhaps boost the potion passive even more or add max magicka, spell crit or spell damage (somewhat related to healing).

EP currently has the worst racials, however, Dunmer isn't horrible for dk or sorc because of the max mag and stam bonuses. Nord, all but useless other than fanboy reasons, argonians don't even hit the mark in any aspect really. Stealth dmg would bring needed organic nb passive support, 20% increase healing received births tanky stable dk and Templars.
