AoE caps

    Not entirely accurate. They ball up to stack AoE damage, they ball up stack AoE heals, and they ball up to stack AoE debuffs/buff and yes they ball up to reduce damage from all sources.

    In short, players ball up to take stack all the advantages that the AoE mechanics provide. AoE is a lazy mechanic that encourages poor game play.
    do you rly think i dont know why they stack??? So many deluded persons... like the @BuggeX. He link the 5k dmg he recieve from tornado (multiple times from diferent persons) but for him dmg numbers are more important than that it gets them from different ppls and if ZoS punish ballers he will have atleast time to react (which he cant do now beacuse his ping is above 300 500 most of the tim and his fps is around 15 ) But nooo, for him dmg numbers are the biggest problem. And no BuggeX i DONT belive you run with 35k armor and magic resist because you need to keep this stats with buffs and from the pics you link i`m 100% sure in the time you menage to cast one, you are already at "choose respawn location" options. (i`m sure you will miss the main resason why this happens... AGAIN)

    I think you misunderstand. It doesn't matter if it is the main reason or not because AoE will still provide all the benefits it always has and players will still ball up. Removing the AoE cap just means damage, heals and buffs will reach more people.

    The mindless AoE button mashing is already terrible as it is and increasing its power further doesn't fix anything.

    I prefer it just be removed from the PvP game except for siege. This way we can return to skill based play that requires targeting, tactical maneuver, coordination and some actual thinking.

    Do we really want PvP to be defined by whoever presses their AoE buttons first wins?

    You sound like those people who set up "pistols only" servers on FPS shooter games.

    You might think that is fun, but if I have to put down a siege weapon as the only way to hit the people who are zerging me, then the game isn't worth playing.

    You sound like those people that only want to mash an AoE button and kill large numbers of players without any aiming, skill or thought.
