Ice Destructive Touch [BUG]

First skill of Destruction Staff (ice) and it's morphs do not immobilize enemy when he is under damage shield. I'm a scrubplar and sometimes it is REALLY hard to land my puncturing sweeps into the target, especially when I'm rooted. U know roots make u fixed so u can't choose the direction to jab-jab. For this reason I grabed Ice Staff - and it worked pretty nice against stamina specs. But everyone with Harness, Healward, Hardened, etc becomes immune to this type of root.

It's well known that the secondary effects of destructive touch and it's morphs don't apply to targets with a damage shield, no matter which staff you use. Unfortunately noone bothered fixing that bug so far.

Level up undaunted skill line, get your hands on trapping webs. It's a magicka dmg based snare that adds 50% snare on your target.

If you can't get that skill yet or your main dmg is elemental, use vamps bane/reflective light. It's a simple 30-40% snare (can't remember which number lol), adds spell critical, and procs dawns wrath passive of increasing minor spell dmg to you and your party/faction. It's also a cheap magicka cast that can replace force pulse (under certain situations).

Cut my tongue but I swear that reflective light does not slow enemy players. =\
Mobs - yes. Anyway I often use it because other reasons you've already written.

Could be reflective light only apply snare to one target, but highly doubt it.

Yup!!. While it's fire dmg, it has too much utility to not take.
