    It can hit through floors as well. You can be on the top floor and the guy below can hit you as long as he activated it when you were on the bottom.

    The other guy was clearly hit by destructive reach. You can watch it travel to the other player as you turn your camera.

    Wrecking blow is fine. You weren't even phased by it.

    It doesn't need a "nerf" but it does need to have a way of making it so if you back far enough away from the person casting it they just miss. They still go through the animation but they just miss and are staggered for 1.5 seconds.

    This allows for the person to get away and pop a heal/pot or get a free hit in. If I activate a close quarter skill and miss I just feel like I should be staggered and they get a free hit. The damage is fine, but the spam and being able to hit someone at absurdly long ranges is annoying and does need a fix.

    Idk it looks i dodged the reach and we both got it by wrecking blow and i didn't get phased because of shields.

    It was destructive reach from the guy in the far back, left hand side. Watch him and you can watch his destructive reach travel all the way to your partner. It's almost as if you were *trying* to film it. It's clear as day.

    It does have a little too much range - I believe there is a bow attack that works from only 2m further away. My main concern with it, aside from self buffing, is that the knock down seems to be kind of wonky to where it is still knocking people down when they should have CC immunity.

    Lag? I don't see any lag in the video. If you watch the surroundings, there isnt a moment where the motion of objects stop (indicating lag)

    I mean it could be... i just didn't see too much evidence of that is all.

    Lag and framerate are two different things. He does not have the latency indicator on, so for all we know he had 350 ms ping at that moment in time, and on the enemies screen he was right next to them. Yes the range is a little much, and they could reduce it, but a lot of abilities have ranges that are questionable in this game.

    Wrecking blow needs a buff...

    It doesnt hit hard or fast enough, and costs way too much stamina

    It was interruptible way back when, but the ability is useless when it is interruptible. It isn't like snipe or frags where you have to time the interrupt from a distance with a specific ability, you can just stand there, and spam bash and they will never be able to get the ability off. It was tested and done, that is why they changed it.

    90% of my deaths is caused by WB.
    Am talking about "group"WB ...
    1v1 I know its my "job" to avoid it.
    I just cant stand WB anymore.

    Agree with the others that the guy in the back was destructive reach.

    With Wrecking Blow, it is almost as if they removed the second "check" for distance at the end of the swing with the LoS check update a couple patches ago.

    Since it is single target it should be no problem having a second LoS check at the end of this one. Strangely it seems to cancel it if you walk through the guy, but not if you walk away, even though you are clearly not in range anymore.

    The "good" WB spammers purposely keep themselves at the edge of the WB limit so they can initiate the attack, then they back away in order to prevent you from attempting to get behind them, knowing full well that if you try to back away you will still get hit, even if you are out of range.

    Simple fix. Make it actualy have a cast time and a winded up time just like a NPCs WB. But we all know ZOS wont do that cause then the WB spammers will cry and then they have to buff it then players will cry about WB spam again and so on.

    Oh my god, I feel like I am talking to a wall here.

    It was like that at launch, you could interrupt it, and the ability was impossible to use because people would just sit there and spam bash and you would never get the ability off. I spent 5 hours in cyro last night and had 0 problems countering this ability with my snb magplar, people just need to learn to counter things.

    if it becomes interruptable it will become unusable; just look up a video of it being used back when it was interruptable; one could not use it in PvP at all due to it being interruptable.

    Uppercut(the unmorphed version, which I will call it) does need fixing; that much is true. I too have been hit by it at absurdly long ranges, and even after having roll dodged the attack. However, if you reduce the damage and make it interruptable, it will become worthless. It already has a hard time getting thru damage shields(as this video has shown) making it do miniscule damage would destroy it. Fix the range it works at and do what someone above recommended, make the user stagger for 1.5 seconds or so if it misses so they can't just keep spamming it; but don't make it interruptable. (I remember trying to use it against crushing shock users back when it was interruptable; it could not be done unless from stealth)

    as of countering it; the best way to do so is to snare your enemy and keep behind them or to their side. They won't be able to activate it, and if they do it will cancel on them.

    I still think the CC on this ability is too good for the damage (and empower) it has. A knockdown followed by a 3.5 second stun? Most dedicated CC abilities don't have it so good.

    It wouldn't be 20% reduced damage, it just wouldn't do +20%. But lets face it, that would not stop the spamming anyway.

    Tbh nothing will stop the spamming if a person is that type of player. Aside from the CC component of WB, I think it's fine. An argument could be made to reinstate it's interuptability, but that would make it nigh useless for classes like Sorc and DK in pvp. The hard CC component of WB should be removed, or changed to a soft CC root, imo though.

    Now I do wish they would fix the code on casted abilities regarding los/range. All casted abilities will fire if the wind-up was at half or more when the target was in range/los. I have been WB'd at over 15M from my target, quite annoying.

    They just need to fix the cc immunity glitches, not neuter the ability to the point of uselessness.

    Seriously... a huge wind up ppl... maybe block or move through the person?... maybe use a snare and laugh as you dance around him cause him to miss all of them while dpsing... so many counters.

    The CC is an issue? You get CC immunity don't you?

    The damage? It hits the same as CF and about 2x as hard as SA insta spam that can land 2 in the same time... what is the problem here?
