No he didn't, the issue was because he has to buy 500 more crowns than needed, the mention about taxes was simply an aside explaining why the card he purchased didn't cover the extra to get the next pack size up and he had to go get another one, it wasn't actually related to the reason, he would have been better off just not mentioning it to avoid confusion.

The problem is i have to buy 3 000 crowns just to pay 2500 crowns to buy the damn thing. So here i was ready to buy it with $25 cash card stored. But now that snot enough due to taxes. So now i have to go buy another stupid cash card just to get $3 bucks worth just to get 3000 crowns to spend 2500 crowns with 500 left over.

Well its the taxes and the 3000 crowns needed that pushed it over $25.
The dlc was supposed to be $20, even with taxes i would have had enough. Its the 3000 crowns and taxes that pushed me over the limit.
This is why I wish the game would have stayed subscription. Grown adults don't complain about paying taxes, they just accept the inevitable on move on.

Instead, i had to go back out,, buy another card. Give M$ another $25, just to have $3 more in order to buy 3000 crowns for a 2500 dlc.
So instead of paying $20, the actual price of the DLC. I just spent $50, to get $20 worth of 'tokens'.
ZOS has a 750 crown pack also.
I assume you are on XBox. If an [snip] card is your problem, I can't see ZOS' fault there. They don't dictate [snip] currency. ZOS allows you to buy 750 crowns, 1500 crowns, and 3000 crowns. Any differences on consoles, well, that's what happens when you have multiple hands in the cookie jar.
People didn't want to pay a sub... People got what they asked for....

People voted with their pockets, if people didn't want to Sub it shows issues with the game not the people.
Personally I cancelled my sub on two occassions, as I felt due to the bugs I was not getting what I was paying for!
With regards to the DLC, I think £15 is a good price for an expansion. But I can see why people are unhappy by the fact you can't just buy the DLC, you have to purchase more coins than required for the DLC.
ZOS would of been better off just putting a price to the DLC, but they were also trying to make it so those who had been subed before F2P could buy the expansion with their free coins.
I have no problem with the 2500 crowns for the DLC.

I hear ya, but in the real world some of us live on a strict budget due to retirement (in my case), or due to working minimum wage, or due to providing for a family; for example, I can only afford cable service, so I canceled my $15 ESO subscription, so I can apply that $15 to a HBO subscription which gives me more entertainment IMO.DigitalShibby wrote: »[snip]
