We don't yet have a date locked in for when the Imperial City patch will hit PTS, but it is looking very good for "before the 31st." Our internal QA team still needs to do some testing. Based on how that testing goes, we'll have a better idea of what the exact date is, which we're eager to share (promise!)

As per our usual way of releasing patch notes, they'll be available the day we push the build to the PTS. (We're still working on them, including translation.)

I don't suppose you could put to death a rumor I have heard about an upcoming change that would be in the patch regarding a racial that wasn't mentioned on ESO Live?

Not sure how you managed to see an answer to a question I asked an hour ago yesterday, hehe.

I am really surprised there isn't a definitive date given how the 31st will be post-patch. Seems very late notice especially as some people will take days to download the PTS and so will be on the PTS days if not a week after everyone else.

I figure you all are busy as all today with Quakecon and IC preparations, buuuuuuutttt do you guys have plans to update us on the IC PTS delivery date? Maybe at your Quakecon presentation?

In line with other updates and your "by the end of the month" teaser one could assume this Monday would be the PTS release day....but it's odd you haven't began prepping us for this

Have you decided to push it back yet again?

They said it would be before the 31st, I'm gonna assume that it'll be this up coming Monday, the 27th

They just said "next week" on the Quakecon stream today. I expect an exact date will be announced shortly.

I doubt they know, themselves. QA has it squirreled away and they will be just as surprised as us when it is ready.

It's very unlikely to be Monday. That said, we'll let you all ahead of time when we have an exact date. We know everyone's anxious to get into Imperial City.

I'd have to think it will be after the patch on the Pc / Console servers so Tuesday afternoon - Wednesday morning would be my guess so hopefully see patch notes late Monday if their feeling generous.

There isn't a separate Imperial City update, it will come to PTS as part of a larger patch. They aren't doing it July 27 so August 3 is probably the next possibility.

Go ahead and do it now, at least to make sure you have enough space on your hard drive.

If you download the PTS now you will only have to download the IC patch once it hits PTS.
If you start the download after IC hits PTS you will have to downlaod the base game + the patch.

Conversely, if you download it now, you'll be downloading ~35GB for the current build +10GB for the patch (my guess), while if you download it after IC hits PTS, you'll only be downloading ~37GB for the full build with IC. (This is assuming that, like would be usual for a patch, the majority of the download is replacement data rather than new data.)
