Second 16 gig patch? Please explain

Ive had this game for 3 days. Downloaded the fame, downloaded a near 16 gig patch before i could play. Played for a few days and when i get home i now how a (what seems to be identical or the same) 16 gg patch again?!?!? Did my ps4 lose data? Is this a 2nd patch? If this is reoccuring, ill take this game back and keep playing destiny. Someone please explain

waraiotokoSoul ShrivenSame thing for me. Bought on Monday. Spent all day downloading the patch and Tuesday was able to play.
Today just turned it on and it's downloading again. Is it the same patch or a new update ?0 -
