Exiting the game and restarting the client should initialize the patch, but if that doesn't work rebooting will accomplish the same. More detailed instructions can be found on our help site.

Ok mine says its updating but the progress bar isn't moving. I've rebooted a couple of times and even unpluged the xbox but still no luck

It is downloading... you just have to wait. the progress bar doesn't necessarily constantly update to tell you exactly where it is in terms of progress.

Press the start menu button at 'Xbox home', go to settings, open 'network' then go to 'bandwidth usage'.

If you're downloading a Megabyte per second~ then your patch is downloading, just wait until you gt to 600MBs used, then you can start saying 'it's not downloading' and then contact Xbox One technical support because of a defective Xbox One... if you want continued assistance, because I won't be able to help any further than that.

You see the power button? Press it, and hold it. Until you hear a certain noise... that's the sound of it going completely off.

Then you turn it back on.
