Can't equip a helmet, no option to.

No option to equip my a helmet on one of my characters, however, my other character can.

    Most likely because you don't have a helmet in your invintory, just like if you don't have a chest piece in your invintory it won't give you an option

    This is the answer. You need to pickup a helm first.

    Or you have the 'hide helmet' setting on.
