I'm just down the coast from you @UrQuan in Oregon state so I'm NA.

I'm also starting to think I'm a zerg magnet. If there's one anywhere on the map, I seem to run into it. :/

Just read the patch notes and it looks like we have another week of these outstanding long loading screens.

Same. I once saw an AD zerg just killing mobs not far from home base, but otherwise I have only seen EP. It's not an atrocious amount, but they were the only ones I saw.

Hmm, I guess that's true. I haven't actually played that character since the patch, though, so I should probably at least try to get a handle on how her build has changed before trying to take her to IC. Also, she's built largely to be a werewolf. That could either be awesome or terribad in IC. I'm not sure which...

Doesn't stop me. the other night I was on with my 20th level dunmer magicka DK, adventuring with a vet 9 breton templar, a vet 5-ish (not sure) Nord NB and a vet 14 Nord ... tanky.... dang I can't even recall what the heck he was.

Cyrodiil in any version is the only way such a crazy group could end up together. We were all EP, encourtering occasionall DC zergs.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

Don't feel bad, my highest AD is I think lvl 15. Part of the reason for the second account was to have more flexibility when grouping, but alas, so many characters and not enough time. :o

Feel free to give me a shout the next time your in the mood to dust off that EP character in IC, I'm the same name in game as here.

I'll play around with her werewolf stuff a bit first to see how the changes to it affected her wolfy efficiency. I strongly suspect that if I go into Imperial City in "rawr, I'm a big scary werewolf" mode I'll probably quickly get Dawnbreakered to death, but if I find her WW form to be powerful enough, I'm willing to give it a try anyway.

:open_mouth: I just realized that the debuff I put on folks (and make sure I keep on them darn Templars, as a wise man once told me "Them [snip] just keeping healing themselves") in IC ALSO has a buff saying my next attack will be 20% stronger! I've been doing it all wrong. I was always throwing a dot on them afterwards, but now I know to use toppling charge (since, you know, I like to stay far away at first)

This PvP thing is a real eye opener.

Almost feel like I've been fighting more than fishing.. that's odd..

Oh that one's easy @Shunravi. You bring @UrQuan with you while he is on his Templar. He keeps watch, and I fish ;).. since.. he doesn't need to fish on his Templar due to no banking fishies anymore.

I would like a passive that allows my to fish while stealthed though. That would help. lol

lol you didn't know that? Both morphs (and the base skill they morph from) give you Empower - that's the main reason I use it when I'm DPSing! And the reason I use the other morph from you is because when I'm doing DPS I like to be in close, pop Solar Barrage (the morph you don't use - which unlike Dark Flare has no cast time) to cause damage to everyone around me and give me Empower to bump up the damage of the Impulse (actually I use the Elemental Ring morph of Impulse) that I follow it up with.

I don't think it's nearly as effective to pop it and follow up with Puncturing Sweep, because Empower only works on your next attack, and I think that means it would only increase the damage on the first of the 4 hits Puncturing Sweep does. But bumping up the damage on Impulse is pretty effective - especially if you hit a lot of enemies with it.

Well, once you get brave we may need to take Shunravi up on his offer. Or maybe I'll have them all by then so I can watch.. I do get a bit over excited though and try to kill things I shouldn't. lol

[EDIT] And no. I didn't know.. because I don't DPS! lol. I also figured that only the first strike would count, so I peaked through and toppling charge seems like it would be a good one shot, and the stun should give me time to finish casting my buffs/debuffs/dots (and get the hell away again).

I really dislike using a "pre-made" build. Although, I do enjoy looking at them to realize synergies in skills etc.

    Morning All.

Welp, a slight update. I managed to take down a Dolmen gate in IC by myself....almost. Killed the final boss and got a random mages fireball in the back :( lol

At least I know It can be done, so the set is working out ok. I'm making a couple of changes tonight to see if it improves it.

DPS is constants at 9-10k - allowing for the nerfs I'm not sure if this is good or bad allowing for healing's as well rather than outright, no worries about being healed as a healer is there, DPS...

I'm not actually sure either, but I picked it 'cause I would definitely give it a try.

Are you conquering IC? Good :)
As far as the forums go, more eyerolling than anything.

Btw, I wanted to tell you that I actually had nothing to do with your Tel Var loss that night. Wasn't even ingame.
If I ever did run into you and actually saw your name (I often don't lol) I would /wave :)

Well found out that even if you have a wild and feirce battle to close a gate in IC, sometimes NObody gets a chest .... :(
