I forsee ZoS nerfing drinks to a small regeneration number and allowing it to stack with food. Damage shield spam, roll dodge spam, all spam relies on Rislav's lovely Kvas!
Magika dks are not bad. The counter to them is to spec cp into thick skin and fire/shock/frost reduction aka elmental defender. Dks that perma block, the key is to use your dots on them aka unstable flame fire breath and if you use bow poison injection is good too. If you use sword and bored like I do, you can unstable flame/fire breath and animation cancel then light attack + ransack + bash on their block and their stam goes down fast.
On top of that hit then with pretrifi and they will have to break free. Also I personally run the blood spwan set and I use dragon leap for the huge shield so when you cast it the fight pretty much starts over and with blood spawn your ultimate will be up alot.Do all these things and magika dks become easy imo cheers
This tactic seems to be common when there are no zerg trains around. I usually just get plinked away. I've gotten better with avoiding situations where I get taloned. But it once it happen, it's game over. Back to the horse simulator for me.

As a stam DK vamp(w/ 40k+ sp resist), I never go 1 on 1 against a DK. Dodge roll is ineffective and the 5k+ lashes are tough to heal through.

Do you mean blocking with a shield or just a weapon? Because i have not tried blocking with a shield, just my 2H sword.
