How does Inner Fire work ?

Hello,

I always asked myself, how the taunt inner fire works. I finally want to unite the holy trinity inside of me and want to become a tank.
So I definately need this, but how does this work ? It only taunts 1 enemy ? But it's so expensive, how can I apply this to each enemy in time without loosing all my Magicka ? Or is it an AoE ?

Are there other options to make sure, an enemy only attacks me ? Small monster aren't that bad I think, since I can root or stun them. But what about bosses ? (I know, most bosses use random target attacks)

You either don't taunt them at all or you do it with the much cheaper melee taunt from one handed and shield

its singeltarget, you´ll use it once every 10-14sec on a boss and ignore it completly when fighting trashmobs.

Okay, thank you and how do I taunt trash mobs ?

you don´t.
you charge them use what ever ae/aecc you have and help your dds stomping them as quickly as possible. if your dd´s are unable to kill them quick becasue of singletarget biasment or inability get other DD´s.

I usually taunt the big hitter in a group (if there is one) and keep the rest in place with Talons or something.

Good, because I'm a Sorcerer and this is an experiment at the same time. Because I want to be able to fulfill any role, so that I have access to any group. Because everyone knows, how rare tanks are for the pledges.

I actually start trash mob fights with Inner Fire, grabbing each enemy as they start their march towards the group. Once I'm close enough to them, I'll throw in an AoE, Empowering Sweep, which is usually enough to get the mob onto me.

u dont need to taunt each mob, just the most dangerous ones, for the rest use cc's and such
plus if u initiate attack and use alot of aoe, most mobs will target u anyways
