Ok well this is probably just me but I have being getting this problem since the game first came out. What happens is quite frequently I will be riding/running then all of a sudden my character will just stop then i'll have to press w again. Also not so frequently while riding i will be unable to to dismount from my mount and the only way to get off is to ride into the water.

Anyone else get these problems?

I haven't heard yet of the first problem you're mentioning, but the dismount problem is a known bug. F.e. here is a thread about it: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/163882/cant-dismount-bug-still-happening/p1 .. I don't have this issue myself but I hope it will get fixed soon.

Are you still having a problem on this? Today's patch had a resolution on the "unable to dismount" issue you mentioned. Also, the patch from last week should have resolved the stop/start/stop/start on your horse while running. Now only larger visible objects stop you from running as they should. I played all weekend and didn't have any issues with horse riding or not being able to dismount. I know some that have had the dismount issue though.
