When is 1.6 going live?

I've heard march 17th, I've heard next week, i've heard a plethora of dates. when is 1.6 actually going live?

Forget March 17th, that would be just dumb.

I would say early March, maybe 3rd or 10th so that they have some days for fixing until Unlimited launches.

Likely next week sometime even though its no where near ready.

I hope by March 17th they have most of the bugs/exploits fixed, but I dont like those odds.

With this many bugs still let's hope not Monday . I wonder if they do ANY in house testing before bringing this garbage to test server . Seriously , I've seen Indy games with more QA !

I doesn't only have to be on Mondays. It can be the 25th, 26th, 27th, or even March 4th, 5th, 6th. Patches have been released on Thursdays before. Also, since 1.6.4 went live on PTS today, then it probably will be end of this coming week. That is my guess.

Patches are normally at least one big patch behind on PTS. We got patch 1.64 today and likely patch 1.65 is already on the internal servers and could even include patch 1.66.

I expect live to be at least patch 1.66 if not 1.67.

That being said the patch we are playing is no where near ready.

They are gonna wanna live test it before Tamirel Unlimited, I'm almost certain, so March 17th is a no is that's when it goes B2P. It'll likely get forced out next week.

Honestly they should make everyone aware that this patch needs major live testing and to expect issues. PTS is a good first step, but live testing before a major relaunch is a smart move. ZOS should think about a pop-up MSG letting folks know that a few things on live may be broken if they push this patch out last week of FEB or first week of MAR.

Put this in the Patch Notes! Despite the forum population being less than the ingame population, a lot of players stop by just to read the Patch Notes and then ignore the forums until the next Patch Notes.

Patch Notes are a big deal.

We are PC gamers, we are the beta testers, all they want is to make sure that the game is more or less balanced for the console launch. For them it really does not matter if hell breaks out when the patch goes live.

Also, I will be farming Light armor noobs in Cyro once pts goes live

The bugs may be major for you and me, but honestly, how many new player will notice that nirnhoned weapons give 100% spell penetration when they start playing on the 17th?

Soon guys. Remember that we have to test it before the B2P date. They will need 2 weeks to fix bugs after the release so I guess the release will be on 2th-3th of March.
