They removed the miss chance making this just a dot and snare... I used this ability all the time for the extra defense and now it's useless for that, with no real alternative.

So you're not pleased that buff effects were standardized?
Or, you want the Medium Armour active buffed so it applies a snare and DoT?

As you see here, Templars took a nerf to their Blinding Flashes ability but at least it was replaced with a viable Tier 5 skill. - This ability has been removed, and replaced with a new ability: Blade Cloak.
- When activated, Blade Cloak reduces area of effect damage taken by the caster by 20% for 15 seconds. Whenever the caster takes area of effect damage, this ability will deal damage to all nearby enemies. Blade Cloak can only fire once every 2 seconds.
- Quick Cloak (morph): This ability provides the buff Major Expedition for 5 seconds.
- Deadly Cloak (morph): When cast, this ability allows you to throw a dagger that deals high damage. This ability can only be used once, and only within ten seconds of the cast.

As I am not one to gripe and complain without some sort of constructive feedback, I will say the easiest solutions were stated above. Simply add the Major Evasion buff to Ash Cloud and nerf or remove the Snare. 20% Dodge increase is acceptable provided it can still stack with gear passive effects such as Hist Bark.

Here's the deal. ZoS swapped an ability that dropped at a tank-type's feet and made them more survivable while you forgot about it, to a distance based ground-targetable mess that takes three clicks, (choose skill, locate and then activate.), and does a snare that any tank would find useless, as they were using it on in their face mobs.
