I understand that not being at VR14 might induce the temptation for everyone to point out what you're doing wrong. Everyone wants to beat the dungeon and go for the gold (pledges). Dying is not an option. I get it.
And I welcome advice. I love coming on to read about what other templar healers are doing with their builds to gain insight and inspiration for how to improve my gameplay and play paramedic in a group. I appreciate knowing my options and the reasoning behind each option on why I should choose it. I have already refined my style countless times with suggestions made by fellow guild members and awesome strangers from group dungeons.
But perhaps I speak on behalf of more templar healers out there than myself when I say: please stop TELLING us that we are using a garbage skill; that our magicka rating is too low even though it is overpowered; scoffing at our health ratings; or straight up saying that we are "doing it wrong". Telling us to go and respec at a shrine in the middle of a dungeon is just plain rude. Maybe try suggesting that we can if we would like to, and that you're more than happy to wait for us to do so. Maybe, instead of "why do you have so little magicka?" or "why are you using (insert skill in question)?", try "may I suggest you use (insert item or skill you want us to switch to)? I find it helps me deal better damage/tank better/etc." Being polite requires a bit more brainpower, but it should yield better results.
If I can refrain from making comments about how DPS might be slower than I would like or how I seem to get mobbed by adds all the time (oh hey, maybe that's why I'm dying), I feel like the rest of the group can be a bit more mindful of how they choose to "teach" me.
Thank you for reading. /end rant
