As you continue to help us test new features on the PTS, we wanted to give you a little insight as to what happens when you report issues on the forums, or in-game using /bug.
We read through all threads in this section of the forums throughout the day, and send a daily report to various members of the development team at the end of each day. This consists of items that appear broken, in addition to feedback. From there, the information gets distributed to a wider audience to determine if something is broken as reported, and feedback (both positive and negative) gets reviewed and acted on, in some cases.
The process for /bug is similar in many regards. A full batch of /bug and /feedback tickets are sent to the team at the end of each day, and they are prioritized based on their severity. Depending on the amount and severity, there are many times when we simply don’t have the capacity to address every issue before an Update is published to the Live megaservers. In this case, we keep a record of them and fix them as soon as we’re able. Naturally, the more information you provide in each bug report (such as exact steps to reproduce the issue), the quicker we’ll be able to identify what’s happening and fix the problem!
You may have seen that we just published a new update to the PTS today, which addresses many issues brought up on the forums and through /bug tickets such as broken werewolf abilities. You can check out the patch notes
here if you haven't seen them yet. Having extra eyes on new content is incredibly helpful to make sure no stone is left unturned, and we thank you for assisting us!
