But yes 1.5k Single Target is possible, but it's need to be a good day as u said... Or combine batswarm with Veiled / Funnel and Combat Prayer.. :D

also out of curiosity ... if you been getting like DPS boosts sometimes randomly in cryodill? sometimes my damage increases by like 60 ish for no reason

You should add an itemization section in which you compare and contrast the various viable sets for your playstyle guide.

Also, I have a question. Your focus seems to be on 1v1ing. My newly v14 NB is my alt, but my main that I played from launch is a templar. On my Templar I can do single target mode for killing one person and multitarget mode for killing or at least surviving 1 vs many situations. Beyond fleeing, does a magicka nb have a viable way to 1 vs many? If so you should add a section for that.

Well I think of it like this if your going for more of a non-burst with more sustain
you can do around 1k-1.2k a sec. yes every skill is focused single target but thats how you will take on multiple people
The person your attacking will be getting hit very hard and will not be attacking you.
at max im able to 1v7 pugs and 1v2 if the person is a skilled player.
ill prob add a section talking about both armor and 1xX I need to update some things related to the update 5 changes which ill be doing today.

Yes, with my old build I just critted sap essence 720 and more and I don't even know why :open_mouth:
Now sometimes I feel like getting a dmg boost for one skill and then it's away again.
No one of our bananas use War horn or combat prayer except for me.

Btw if you link one of my videos then link the new one pls.. My melee build is after the Harness nerf ;)

    My apologies then.

But you did explicitly ask if it's possible to 1vX without having to flee. Which ofc is more than possible.

Again the point was to say that my new NB alt just hit v14 recently and suggest that the info be added to the guide if it were possible. A written guide is much easier analyze while at work on a mobile phone.

However, thanks for trying to help.

The skills that fall in this category of spells that are mitigated by armor are:

    DK
    - Lava Whip
    - Searing Strike (initial strike, not the DoT)
    - Stone Fist

    Templar
    - Puncutring Strikes

    NB
    - Teleport Strike
    - Veiled Strike
    - Assassin's Blade
    - Death Stroke (although I believe, it stopped receiving stealth dmg bonus recently as it's an ult)

Does this mean that the dmg of these class abilities are increased by Weapon power? I could have have sworn that DK whip, for instance, is spell power / weapon crit.

Their dmg scales purely from spell dmg & max magicka. However they are mitigated by Armor (not Spell Res) and they crit with Weapon Crit (not spell crit). And they are not spells because they bypass Harness Magicka (which absorbs spells), so the game doesn't see them as spells.

Basically they are spells, but they are not spells. I'm not sure what confuses you guys, this is so straightforward XD

So do I now have to go for armor or spell pen?

suprise attack will reduce your armor by 40% anyway. so you cant really have armor to counter it

Nice tips Araxleon. You're NB builds are extremely viable when in the right hands. :) Takes a decent player to pull it off though.

I personally prefer my sap tank which pretty much involves shield charging into a group of 50 enemies and 90 seconds later dying after earning 7,500 AP haha.

Also cool to see someone linked one of my vids above :D A good thread all round.

No, that's even more broken. With a sharpened weapon you can completely bypass all the target's spell res.

I actually have no idea about Nirnhorned, I can't test it myself as in the last 2 months I've spent 98% of my game time in Cyro. The rest 2%, I was queuing to get in.

Lost all interested in PvE shortly after completing the first 2 trials and getting two toons to v14.

I actually just said nirnhooned because it also contained spell pen or is the exessive damage of sharpened only linked to this trait because of a bug?

Well it must be a bug since 14% spell penetration with a gold weapon and 28% (is it?) from 7/7 light, does not make 100%.

Whether that same bug exists with nirnhoned weaps, as I said, I have no clue.

Nirnhoned on weapons procs a spell resistance buff, not spell pen.

Pretty much the exact opposite of Sharpened.

    Interesting, I stand corrected. : )

I do know that Sharpened is currently bugged to get the values that it actually gets, but no idea about Nirnhoned being bugged in the same manner.
