    Have you seen the proposed changes to 2H line from the guild summit? They look good. Some well needed buffs coming our way!

    Oh sweet baby Jesus

    Two-Handed

    Cleave – increased the damage and radius of Cleave to be more competitive with Impulse

    Critical Charge – reduced the base damage a bit to combat the “charge spam build”, but increased the damage on the morph that scales with distance charged

    Uppercut – Reduced the cast time, increased the damage to make this the “bread and butter” damage ability for the 2h line (seeing the ability used live looks much faster and more powerful)

    Reverse Slash – improved the morph which deals AoE splash damage to be more attractive compared to Executioner

    Momentum – Now increases Weapon Power by a flat 20% for 30 seconds and applies a small HoT for the entire duration. The morph which currently heals you at the end will allow you to cash in that heal at any time by using the ability again.

    Forceful (passive) – now deals splash damage to 2 targets instead of 1

    Follow Up (passive) – this new passive replaces Arcane Fighter and now increases the damage of fully charged Heavy Attacks by 5/10%.

    Ok, all cleaned up.

    Just FYI, although the buff to Uppercut blows my mind, the morph to Momentum could be amazing.... if it's "spammable" at the cost of magicka, it could be a better heal than Green Dragon, or on par at least... Magicka-based heal that comes with 20% extra DPS lol

    I'm pumped about the change to Momentum, but I don't think it'll be as good as you imagine. I don't know where you get the idea that it would cost magicka or be magicka based, I don't see why it wouldn't still cost stamina.

    Also, the heal doesn't currently scale at all, as far as I know. Not with stam nor magicka. If they change that I really don't think they'd change it to scale with magicka and not stam. So again, I can't really see this mirroring GDB. Although it'll still be great to have.

    Furthermore, 20% extra dps? Let's examine that statement a bit. Weapon damage is only half of parts calculated to deal damage, so that's presenting your statement as an exaggeration.

    Beyond that, 20% extra weapon damage is only active while you're using a 2h, not if you weapon swap. If you're using a 2h, you're probably already capped out on weapon damage, so that 20% hits diminishing returns and is even less.

    So 20% DPS increase? Meh. It's only for 2h, and probably ends up being well under half of that value.

    My thing is, I'm currently testing out dual wielding, and atm Flurry hits for like WAY more than Uppercut does by far, and is easily the better DPS way to go. To reach that level, 2H will need a serious percentage buff to Uppercut. Now that being said, this would also be a good time to buff templars for DPS by making them the holy knights they were meant to be, i.e a passive to make 2H that much more baller for them.
