    @Braddass , oh i thought there is something wrong with it. constricted? yeah i would want bit more zoom as well, but unplayable.. hardly.

    I have a relative who literally gets motion sick from playing this game after about 45-60 minutes a good number of nights she tries to play because of the low FOV. From other posts of @Smiteye 's he/she has said they have the same issue... so while it's annoying for people without health problems, I can vouch that some do and it's not just a preference but really CAN make it unplayable for some people overall.

    If you had read the linked thread that he had quoted (I actually authored it, heh) you would have known why some call it that though :).

    but if it is 1/10000 unplayable to some, it does not mean it is on eyes of Zenimax. the "fact", there is "no need" to fix anything, so they don't.



    Obviously the statement with the keyword annoying is an opinion. Opinions by definition are not shared by 100% of the population, so there's no reason to point out that it's an invalid comment :p just because you disagree :).

    A huge number of people have asked for camera options to be added and they did so for first-person but neglected third. I think it's time to give third-person users their fixes now too.

    So questions regarding nerfs, easier things like only respec a morph (Its fine), gets answered.

    I am still waiting for a reason of getting rank 13 and 14 easier.

    I simply do not buy that you do not get from Vet 12 to vet 14 before you finished the new content.

    Is ESO changing direction regarding the time to advance in experience?

    This is why I was very concerned in the change to make Vet 1-3 areas easier. Not for the change itself, but when is the next "easier" coming?


    There already are a few of Vet 12, who very skilled got there quickly, who claims both Dungeons and Trials are to hard. Something the REAL raid guilds oppose and say the opposite. They are to easy.

    Where does it stop? Does it stop? I really enjoy ESO and see myself here in the long term. Mainly because of how ESO is working, managed and delivered right now. Do you intent to change a main feature. Making experience even easier to get?

    Also would really like to see some of the non-trivial questions and suggestions replied to :( honestly... even a "no information at this time" is better than months of silence. :) I know they do their best, and of course all due respect, but I do feel some are very much overdue and overlooked on getting answers

    We've made an edit to these patch notes. We removed the following note from the Combat & Gameplay section:
    • You now have the option to only respec morphs. This is less expensive than a full respec of all abilities.

    This change did not make it onto the PTS, but it will be in the live release of Update 4. We apologize for any confusion this caused!

    So do we get to choose which morph we want to respec or do u we have to pay a lower respec fee just to respec all morphs?

    I hope we can choose the morphs individually as respec all morphs is a bit of a waste of time sorry to say.

    Im pretty sure itll be an all-morph respec simply due to the fact it would take more work to code single-morph respecs. Im not saying they shouldnt put in the work, Im saying theyre not likely to do so.

    I don't find un-morph everything very useful. I'd prefer per-skill-line respec. That way you could drop a weapon or armor line you don't want to use anymore, along with it's passives.

    As for switching morphs, they should've left the morph button next to skill icon there, even after you morph it for the first time. Switching to the other morph could cost a filled soul gem instead of a skill point. No big changes to code or UI necessary.

    I am one of the people that is prone to motion sickness. I simply can not play in first person view. I have to zoom all the way out in 3rd person to avoid getting sick. For some people, I am sure that being able to zoom out further would be a great benefit.

    One question ... for those of you more experienced in PvP than me, would being able to zoom out further be an unfair advantage due to being able to see people coming from behind you?

    You sure about that? Is it on PTS only you're complaining about, because I tested the disease weapon enchant's heal debuff on a cyrodiil mender last night. My results with a legendary enchant were that without the debuff on it, the mender healed for ~430 a tick with its channeled heal. If I had applied "befouled weapon" to the mender recently it was only healing for about 300-310.

    I'm guessing this is one of those forum rumors again that hasn't actually been tested on the others as well, but is being spread around by people who also haven't checked their facts :(?

    Meleeweapons and arcane fighter are not working... staves are mostly allright as allways... go light and staff so ure fine.

    Sure you could come up with a way to make it work with the minimum amount of coding. Still dont think thats how theyll do it :P

    The zoom distance in ESO is by far the lowest I have seen in any MMO with pvp in it, and I've played them since EQ1 including Dark Age of Camelot (DAOC) for 7 years, Warhammer Online (WAR) for 2 years, and other games (including Rift and TSW for about 8-10 months each as well). There is no inherently large advantage to anything short of an incredibly high RTS-level zoom distance in PVP vs a moderate/more normal one that most games provide (except ESO), as a good player can and will be panning around regardless of the zoom level to see his/her surroundings. It's more about comfort and overall gameplay feel than the actual effect it has on your situational awareness :).

    I know someone will probably chime in saying "but it's already better than first-person view!", well, I will respond to that "you're the guy choosing to play in that mode in the first place, and there's no way to 'fix' a disadvantage of that viewpoint objectively since it is inherent to the two different camera types." Higher max zoom distance, camera centering, and an FOV option for the third-person camera won't affect that.

    So the battle level is getting increased again? thats cool, whatever helps us non vets deal with these ridiculous keep archers. i got hit by one of these archer for 1364 damage today... from a "quick shot" it was so ridiculous it was funny.

    I haven't cancelled my sub yet, but I didn't log in once over the weekend. I played Skyrim all weekend instead. It has a level of immersion that sadly I don't think ESO will ever have. I really wish they had made the quests more like the single player TES games. There is absolutely no reason they couldn't have either since they made them all solo. I am holding out that the justice system will grant some level of that immersion. The PvP tactics have become dull and boring to me lately especially since they are apparently going to nerf stealth combat build by removing the vampire passive stacking with the night's silence set. It would be nice to play around with that more, but what's the point if they are just going to remove it? :(

    Night Silence or Vamp Passive is fine.
    Seriosly you are crying about immersion but it is no problem for you that with stacking Vamp passive and Night Silence and Rapid Maneuvers you can "sneak" as fast as someone else ride his horse? :(
