If you could add one new racial passive to the existing list, what would it be?

If you could add one new racial passive to the existing list for a particular race, what would it be?

It can be an existing passive, such as giving Stealthy (Improves stealth radius by 1/2/3m; Increases damage done from while Stealthed by 3/6/9%), which is currently only found in Bosmer and and Khajiit, to Argonians. Or it could be a completely original passive.

Please explain why you think this fits with the race in question as opposed to just wanting it for a character you already created. For instance, in the example given, Argonians have much experience operating as part of an armed resistance movement against incursions into Black Marsh by groups such as invaders from Cyrodiil and slavers from Morrowind. They are described in The Elder Scrolls Online as experts in guerrilla warfare.

    I would love to have an unique passive that do not relate to combat, like a "lucky" for the imperials, a "master lockpicker" for khajiit, and so on...

    right now the race just give a boost to combat and do not feel as unique as i hoped for.

    Convert gear to Race Motif, for all races. Ie, my Khajiit Templar could convert any gear to Khajiit gear, and my Dunmer Dragonknight could convert it to Dunmer gear.

    I'd quite like to see some sort of Khajiit agility passive to allow faster sprinting higher jumping etc.

    I would personally LOVE something like this. Remove the skill line XP boost (since it's gone once you master the skill line, and you can trait your gear for it anyway) and replace it with a non-combat utility of some sort.

    I don't have any ideas, but maybe the Imperials could get a "Speechcraft" option (like they had in Oblivion) that gives them a conversation option in addition to the Intimidate/Persuasion options from the Fighters'/Mages' Guilds.

    Anything for Argonian's which didn't suck. Personally I think a damage reduction passive due to scales would be nice.

    Bosmer should get a passive that makes generic (non-quest or boss) beasts non-hostile (green outline) until attacked.

    Khajiit: Night Eye
    Reveals hidden and invisible enemies within 5/10/15 yards.

    Night eye has always been a khajiit racial ability in ES games, though traditionally it's been for making it easier to see in the dark. In an MMO, being able to see in the dark doesnt really matter that much, and would be a fair waste of an ability/passive. However, changing it to allow you to see stealthed and invisible opponents would be immensely useful, like a personalized magelight without the annoying graphic effect or taking up a skill slot. The ability essentially emphasizes the enhanced senses a khajiit should have.



    Bosmer: Command Beasts
    Weapon attacks have a 5/10/15% chance to call a nearby animal to your aid for 20 seconds. This effect cannot occur more than once every 60 seconds.

    Again, the traditional command beasts bosmer have had in past ES games would not really work (basically making an animal friendly on activation) - racial abilities should be passive, or powerful enough to justify putting on your limited hotbar. With this, you'd randomly summon an animal to fight your target, with an internal cooldown so it isnt constantly available. The animal could be randomized (calling, at random, a wolf, tiger, bear, or snake to help you fight), and would probably have to be fairly weak to keep balanced - dealing moderate damage and being easy to kill.

    I would rather see weapon bonuses instead of XP earned. Such as Imperials gain X% bonus to weapon damage when using a sword, Khajiit get X% bonus to weapon dmg when using daggers, Nords should get X% weapon dmg to 2H weapons. Or even instead of bonus xp to armor skills you get bonus armor and spell resist when using certain armors, like Khajiit get X% bonus when wearing leather and Nords get X% bonus when wearing plate.

    I want poison damage increase 9% on Bosmor. Venom / Poison Affinity

    I would like bonus sneak speed on my khajiit just like old morrowind when khajiit had Acrobatic bonus. Swift Steps
