WABBA EP Bot Swarm

There is currently a suspected Bot Zerg in Cyrodiil, Wabba. Its about 20-25 strong, all resto staff users. Can anyone else get eyes on this situation to comfirm?

Their name is TSym, they are not a bot guild, they are just extremely disciplined and stay tight with their leader.

They are an ex-GW2 guild, so they know how to zerg ball, they are extremely squishy in the back lines though, so you can almost always wipe them every time if you hit their back.

I've been unable to confirm with TSym. Not saying that they're surely bots, just saying that they aren't surely players either.

Don't know either way but let me toss this out; Why do you feel they are bots? Without using 'they are too coordinated' as a reason because that is not a reason.

Genuinely curious. This has been reported on multiple occasions and nobody came through with a reason other than 'some players followed some guy and they did some things and killed me'.

I'm not fond of their methods BUT..you know what? They're not doing anything differently than AD has been doing from day one. AD zergs and spams many different spells ..... they zerg and spam one.

If they're BOTS they have mastered jumping from character to character and chatting in Zone.

No one is wrong here. There is a bot farm zerg. I wouldn't be surprised if theres a group in all three factions doing this. They've been bot farming most campaigns for a while. Farming nodes, not AP. Lots o aspect runes in cyrodiil.

However, what the above people were mentioning is true. There is indeed a giant family of goblins running around. They're obviously not bots, but omgtheysoCUTE.

I can guarantee they are not bots.
TSYM is a legitimate guild with real players, I am one of them and we use TeamSpeak to coordinate our moves.
I have seen the false claims about being bots in the zone chat and responded, yet people are ignorant to the replies and still claim we are bots.
If someone plays the game well and wipes a team of 100+ players they are automatically labeled as bots.
Yesterday, one of our guild members was banned falsely for botting... while we were in Cyrodiil, actively playing. I believe that any ignorant player that falsely accuses someone of botting should get reprimanded appropriately.

You should be careful how you use the term "bot swarm." To accuse someone of engaging in such a behavior suggests they are using third party software that generally enables macro-functionality to do an assortment of tasks.

If you ever feel you are seeing such an abuse in any way, the most effective way to resolve this is to report in-game, provide a screenshot, and give feedback immediately.

Those you are questioning could very well be a legitimate group that is just highly coordinated and stays in a tight formation. That being said, I have seen instances where if the main leader of the party is killed, many behind will stop moving and stop functioning as if their macro was interrupted.

It's really an issue only ZOS can resolve, if it's happening, and it seems they are vigilant to combat those who use bots, as they have done in the PvE experience since the launch of this game.

It won't be long before everyone's suspected of botting/multiboxing... everyone except the people who don't know what it actually looks like to spot... which are typically the ones who start these kinds of threads (not saying that the OP is necessarily such an individual). It's understandable the first few times a new player comes up against these types of potent "hive mind" groups, it just sometimes takes time to wrap their heads around it and let go of the denial.

DC had a couple well coordinated zerg balls working together tonight in Wabba; hats off to them for bringing many challenging fights! After all, bot vs bot is serious business.

I honestly have not seen a zerg that size from DC before. I watched from the walls of a couple keeps the cat and mouse game going on between some EP and that ginormous blueberry swarm. Was quite the event. Then a bunch of random EP's jumped in and it was chaos! Love seeing the coordination! Tip my helm to those group leaders.

This is a most nasty thread started with extremely unfortunate wording. We are NOT bots. We really enjoy our pvp and do it in in strict adherence to our guildmaster's instructions as given to us via TS3. Your forum post and subsequent complaints to ESO management ended up in a completely UNWARRANTED ban of a player who is an injured vet who lost both his legs in Iraq who plays this game to help get his mind off of his constant pain. Hope you are proud of yourself.

I would like to see the goblin army. I am still occasionally startled to see people wearing the costumes/disguises that on my account are worn by my mules fighting next to me, especially when they hang out together in a similarly-garbed group of friends (I'm assuming). I always think right at first, "Holy crap, what is that NPC doings?!" which I suppose is the point.

I play a Khajiit who simply looks silly in disguises. Considering the Hello Kitty aspect of the Khajiit motif helm I'm not sure I'd want to run around in.

Credit where credit's due: it's been a long, long time since I've seen a bot. Kudos to ZOS, and thanks for fixing the FPS issue, too.

WTF? Zenimax doesn't even investigate reports? They just blindly assume they are correct in their accusations?

If so that GM responsible needs to be fired or reprimanded... I would unban the player and award them free game time.

YOU DO NOT run a business by kicking out honest paying customers. As a business owner myself I will add that if you screw up you fix the mistake and own up to it.
