Funny thing is that EP attacked me while AD was taking their keep. I see this multiple times a day, just never bothered to fraps it. So I will keep getting vids (and names) of the Emp farmers and hopefully it will cut down on the collusion.

in case people were not able to watch the video. It shows an EP owned castle being taken by AD....except AD and EP are standing together in plain site and when he is discovered (by AD it appears) they seem to ask EP to attack him while backing off (and continuing to siege the castle below).

To be clear EP and AD at EP castle, AD has EP castle under siege while EP and AD apparently stand around in a conversational posture

I am not sure, could this possibly be a blatant example of collusion? Or maybe colorblind issue. Or maybe the FPS is so low that they are not aware of each other...gonna go with collusion.

Please get rid of the former emperor buffs and title until the pvp model is actually ready for something like that. What should have been an impressive pvp title is now meaningless, and the buffs are giving bonuses to exploiters at the expense of most other players.

It's not just the breaking of the spirit of competition that makes these emp farming guilds scum -- it's all the other ethics they trash in their drive towards personal gain that makes them terrible players to be forced to deal with.

They harass, they exploit, and they sabotage.

Actually, Brian Wheeler mentioned it at one point as 'We are aware of what's happening on Celarus' in reference to the first campaign that had the issue.

I am colorblind so I could not really tell what was happening. lol. these PvP tags all look the same to me:/ but if what everyone in this thread is saying is correct, that's pretty pathetic. "exclusive rights to the server" my a**. lol. soon as these people are gone, the sooner actual PvP can take place.

Emp farming is merely a symptom of too many campaigns and not enough population. Where there's a will there's a way... and sadly in most PvP MMOs there are also many ways.

Once the population is condensed into fewer campaigns it will definitely make it much harder to crown emperors and depose them.

You're right on mark with this statement .. I was playing this weekend (Hopesfire campaign) .. I see where the action is, get there and start healing and killing , actually having fun and I see this whisper for me to quit helping that I'm messing up the flow.. What?? Yeah, I need to leave.. So I go skyshard hunting - boring- do like 6-7 scouting missions and decide to go back to the action- I get to the keep and like one person is defending it , everyone else does nothing- NP guys I whip out a siege weapon and start unloading on em' So these guys start /yelling at me to 'cut it out and let em' in '.. Obviously there is some kind of 'I'll scratch your back, you scratch mine' thing going on . These jerks are running the field and everyone else is chasing dolmen and skyshards.. they have sucked the fun out of pvp .

Hopesfire folks now have the balls to come to Wabba and ask for help in crowning themselves emp. Lol.

It happens on Chrysamere in much the same fashion. Hilariously, the AD guy the EP emp' farmers brought in (not alone, of course) switched his home server less than a minute before today's maintenance forced the server shutdown so that the abdication announcement would be drowned out by the stream of maintenance announcements and missed entirely. You shouldn't be able to whisper players of opposing factions, not that it'd stop them discussing "strategy" in Teamspeak.

Maybe if two opposing factions are less than say 50 meters and not completely hidden or in not direct battle (with required percentage of kills) there should be a time limit before some of those mini deadric summons events (say a dozen) appear and basically wipe everything from the area, then they would have something to fight together. Or if the walls of a keep are down or damaged more than 50% then maybe the castle gets invaded (repaired) and held by an army of Deadra with every oblivion horror that will fit.

I do not see fighting a common threat, but like reality it should devolve into AvA not....emp famring

hoepsfire is still home to cheaters? what a shame. I see alacrity did not try to do anything about it(not surprised there) its not the only one though:/ just don't go to any campaign besides wabba, is what iv been going with lately.

EP didn't bring AD, DC did. Hence why they're all shooting the walls at our (EP's) keeps. Are you suggesting we don't protect the keep? ... Damned if you do, Damned if you don't.
