Dual Wield Expert just 6%??

Hi there,

has the passive DW skill Dual Wield Expert been changed recently? I was quiet sure 2/2 on this passive increases your off-hand damage by 25%. But I just realized it's just 6% now. I honestly never had wasted skill points for 6% more offhand-dam...

The off hand for default gives a 33% dmg (near this value) so the passive changes it to 39%

So it fails to allay the entire skill line's trash status in any meaningful way. This is what happens when the guy that designed the game's Destruction Staff skill line is allowed anywhere near the swords. That should be at least 15%.

Nope they changed the tooltip and made it additive instead of multiplicative, but the value is still very close to what it used to be.

The off-hand weapon gives you 20% of the weapon attack rating as extra weapon power. The old trait used to buff the off-hand damage bonus by a 25% multiplicative value.
So it previously worked like this : [20 + (20 x 25/100)] = 25%

Now the bonus from the trait is additive
So it currently works like this : 20 + 6 = 26%

So if you equip 2 weapons with a 100 attack rating your total weapon power should be 120 without the trait and 126 with the trait.
