I am curious, do former emperors count for "Kill Emperor" achievement?

How long do you have to kill a player that killed you to earn a revenge kill?

No, former emperors do not provide the achievement, and they are not particularly more challenging to kill than any other player.

(Former emperor buff is only 2% siege dmg, 1% healing, 5% ult cost reduction)

Thanks. I didn't think the player was hard to kill, but I was having trouble with the revenge achievement and wondered about emp. I've played the character I'm currently using enough to get Veteran rank, not a lot but nothing either. I run into the same players enough to have six avenge kills, but I have zero revenge.

I know for a fact that I killed the same player today who killed my character a little earlier in the day, so hence my question about time limits for revenge. My first character, who also reached Veteran rank, did get some revenge kills, so it just seems odd that out of all the battles fought it never has popped for the current one.

Not quite sure how the timer on the revenge achievement works, but if you are running into some of the same players a few times, you will likely get it soon.

OK, well, was just killed 10 minutes ago outside of BRK, went back out and popped a solar prison near the same area, got the first revenge kill achievement. It looks like it might be under half an hour time limit for such kills, but I'm just not sure. If anyone has any info please share.

Funniest thing of revenge achievement: you can get this achievement by killing enemy player right after you die by using for example DK standard (it keep hitting enemy after you die)

One time I was attacking Rylana without particularly noticing who it was and then noticed and accidentally hit ESC about 6 times and then, quite deservedly, died for being a dumb455.

Well, after posting here last night I got the Emperor Slayer achievement. With Inner Light I saw an enemy player sneaking and went to investigate. A couple of other players noticed also. I had no idea it was someone with that rank. Not sure if you can select it like any other title for display or if it was because my playing screen was small/graphic quality was turned to low. Didn't know it was an emperor (guesting on another campaign) until the achievement came up.

Maybe I should ask in this thread about other achievements I am working on...
