There are so many issues with this update that I cannot even begin to express how frustrated I am. I won't recount them here, as the customer support forum is the proof-in-the-pudding, so to speak. This all begs the question of how ZOS handles testing of content prior to going live.

DK's are fine with the nerf and might still be needed. They're still pretty OP even without using sticks and robes (I roll shield/board heavy). Though there's no "hate" on tanks, just inbalance compared to other stick and robe builds which they're working on. This issue they've stated they're working on.

The second major content update and the second one where the new content is only accessible to a trivially small minority of all the players, typically those in ZOS friends at Entropy Rising and those who were able to 'abuse early, abuse often' to rush to VR12 before ZOS took the nerfbat to Anomaly VP.

For the vast majority there is nothing new in here, only more broken mechanics .. Dev Tracker is already littered with "we're looking at it" posts about these and no respite to the horrible VR grind those who were able to 'abuse early, abuse often' managed to avoid having to endure.

I see little of positive value in this update, mainly bug fixes and skill changes that shouldn't have taken three months to apply.

I'm sure those able to do CoH will love it .. for the few days it'll take them to clear it, then they'll be back complaining there's nothing to do at level cap.

Well, another horrible foot forward for [snip]

20% of the US - being just ONE market - has access to decent broadband capacity - 5mb/s or better.
The rest are on *considerably* slower connections - or are on satellite.
So, in the first instance, those users are out hours, if not complete DAYS of play, and the second group had better hope they don't go over the draconian data caps on satellite.

Rather than enabling game play and updating in the background - they render most of the US community outside of major cities or within 2 miles of a DSLAM unable to play. Nicely done.

And still the inventory system is a horrible abomination.
Eve Online, Perpetuum, Guild Wars 1 & 2, and *SO* many others have far more manageable inventory systems... but ESO gets complete trash.

Nope, won't be renewing. This game was a fat huge waste of money, [snip]

im not going to be ungrateful and whiny like some of the people here. this update has done many things im happy about. the only 2 things I will complain about: PvP lag is back, tried it twice, the lag was awful both times. there seems to be a "delayed xp/vp" bug, where you don't see the xp/vp you earned until you fast travel, or re-log.

Really, out of all the things to complain about, you complain about the inventory system (which works completely fine)? Wow. It seems that people are just looking for reasons to quit this game...

....So your upset that the download is a few gigs and your internet sucks?.... Sorry but I fail to see how Zen is responsible for your internet connection or your time scheduled?...Many of times in the past I have been in that spot before where downloading a couple of gigs did take me two days or so and it does suck, but I never went and blamed that Company.

Would a background downloader be nice? - yes. Since Zenimax doesn't have one now does that mean they will never have a background downloader? - No. I can recall from my first years of WOW and they didn't have a background downloader until a few YEARS after release. Oh and yes after just about every update patch no matter how small or large the game was a disaster for the whole next week or more until the got things straighten out.

And as far as your inventory issues... you see there are these newly invented programs online now called "MODS" This is what you need to do to gain access to this new high tech software. 1)open browser, 2) go to google, 3)type in Minion, 4)download & install minion, 5) type in "inventory" into search bar of minion
    6) enjoy any of the multitude of inventory mods of your desire.

*sigh* The people on here are as bad as YouTube comments.
I'm spending most of my time farming iron on Betnikh to send to my Pact character, since I had difficulty finding much in Stonefalls. So I haven't seen much of the new update. What I have seen, though, I do like. I noticed that the lighting effects have also bee applied to the runestones, which now give this beautiful glow on the ground and allow you to know what kind it is from any angle. I was thrown off a bit by the first-person swimming. I feel like I can't see as much with my arms constantly moving in front of me; to me, first person swimming would only make sense if you were allowed to dive. But I suppose I shall get used to it, since enough people begged for it.
I hope you are still considering my suggestion for houses. I think a lot of people would like to see that. What I have in mind is similar to who it works on LOTRO: little zones within the zones that are neighborhoods built the same style as the surrounding areas. After you buy one, you can buy/earn decorations and make it look however you want.

I downloaded patch over night and tried it this morning before RL. PvP was running smooth. I skirmished with 5 other players over an elderscroll with lots of NPCs trying to help me defend. No lag. Chased them on a fast horse across landscape as they ran off with EP's scroll. No problems, no lag. My Internet speed is max 3Mbps.

Not saying others didn't have problems, simply reporting my own experience.

One weird thing I did see is that every time I got my 3-5 gold pieces (loot of any kind), I had to hit the "." key to go back to navigation mode. Haven't rebooted since patching...hopefully it will go away after PC restart. Probably just me as I don't see anyone else complaining about it.

I thought there was going to be some new PvP missions having to do with class specific kills...I didn't see any directional arrows suggesting new missions were available. Again...maybe just me.

Yeah! Sucks that they made us only pay magika once for talons, instead of the double! Hate when they do that! Have more magika now! FREE RESPEC!

The progress bar going over 100% happened to me too. It's fine though. The download still works and finishes correctly.

Check the patch notes for the update info.

I noticed the same thing as irre-greg; "One weird thing I did see is that every time I got my 3-5 gold pieces (loot of any kind), I had to hit the "." key to go back to navigation mode."

When you open a window in game, you go to cursor mode and then you have to move to exit that mode; very inconvenient. Overall, I like the effort the devs are putting into the game and the direction the game is going. I think the devs are showing good sense in how the balance the classes, i.e. incrementally.

I'm not looking forward to Update 3. I wish I could but the fix vs introduced bugs ratio of patches just leaves me very despondent. Please ZOS give me reason to believe that your quality control is improving.

    :(

Nightblades got about as many changes/buffs as other classes. Even a nerf or two. Yay...?

In reality, NB isn't too bad off if you consider we can pick up a resto staff and light armor and dps as effectively as most classes with the same build.

Maybe a few bug fixes is needed here and there, and some underused abilities cold be tweaked. But otherwise too many positive changes for NB will probably be bad for balance in the long run.

Patch downloadedcjust fine and many of the small changes are welcomed and appreciated. The Nord racial Rugged is now useful, my Templar's damage output moves me through mobs easier and while I have not experienced much of Craglorn yet (still enjoying the main quests and POI touring in Auridon as a VR5), I look forward to checking out the content there.

However, I'm still hopeful the balance issues between magika and stamina is being looked at, as well as armor - I like the benefits of a mostly/all Light Armor build, but my big, tough Nord Templar looks a little sissy in cloth :)

Most were fix either in the patches before this patch or fix outside of the nighblade section like attack speed for bows.

The single request I have to make is that you allow us the option to turn down/off the lighting effects. Although it is beautiful, it tends to kill frame rates, especially for those of us who don't have and can't afford the latest graphics card.

Honestly, I wish they would roll the servers back to the previous version as PvP is unplayable in its current state the FPS lag is inexcusable and the patch should not have been released with it. Even if it wasn't caught in house, they should have immediately rolled back when they discovered the issue, it's a game breaking but. Fail that sprint next time for me please.

Yes, the lag in Cyrodiil is absolutely unbearable. I usually run between 20-40 fps, which I know is not stupendous, however today's rubberbanding had me down to 0.7 fps. That is beyond unplayable, it was a slideshow.

    Yay, pretty interior lighting effects.........?

Please, ZOS, fix the Cyrodiil lag! Especially now, facing a new campaign in less than a day.

I have 2/3 major problems with this update. 1 is freezing up. 2 is ADDons no longer working and 3 is lag. 1 and 3 are probably related. Since I am from the older crowd of players, I remember when these weren't problems. So, what happened?

Days ;)? Actually it took not really more than approx 1 hour after patch download to complete...first four boss mobs killed on 1st try ... 3 tries for boss number 5 (stupied movement failures) and three/four tries for 6...

Do not get me wrong, CoH is a great dungeon! We had a lot a fun playing it.

Would be great to get more of these dungeons.. maybe a complete zone with 4/12 player trail dungeons..

Attention Zenimax: Stamina builds don't hold up to magicka builds, and this is causing most of your class imbalance. It makes melee weapons and bows weaker than staves and class abilities. It makes medium and heavy armor less desirable than light armor. Fix this imbalance, and you'll address most of your balance issues.
