Don't log in to Cyrodil if you're not Aldemeri

My Daggerfall character can't even begin to spend time in cyrodil exploring, npc questing, skyshardhunting, dungeon delving, because every campaign map he sees is basically 70-80% owned by Aldemeri. Sure, if I want to solely engage in running-into-Alemeri-guys, i'm golden. But I'd rather do other stuff---or, have less chance of running into overwhelming numbers of the opposite factions. It's discouraging. It makes all of Cyrodil's quests and dungeons a wasted creation, unless you're Aldemeri.
Anyway, I log into Cyrodil for just a few minutes, shake my head and leave. This is going to cause me to drop my subscription sooner than I otherwise would have.

Greatfellow✭✭✭Thanks, Sihnfahl, I'll check out the Bloodthorn campaign. The other three I checked out were Aldemeri, and i was getting tired of waiting a day each time to check out a new campaign. Plus i'd read that OldTimers Guild is Aldemeri, and has a presence across the campaigns. Thanks again.0

Sihnfahl✭✭✭✭Well, most of the time, AD usually only controls 2 keeps on Bloodthorn. They occasionally get more, but between DC and EP, AD loses them. And during a massive DC push, AD is just relegated to gank teams.0

But of late, I've only seen EP manage to grab onto a Scroll, and then just use it to farm AP when DC folks come in haphazardly to try to reclaim it. I haven't seen them make a concerted effort to return it to a Shrine in a while.0 -

Canceling your subscription because of this is a waist, so is complaining about this. Zenimax is already in the process of changing the campaigns. I guess they will wait for the current ones to end then close them. They will reduce the number of campaigns and change the styles of them. They already said this in another post. They said the reasoning is to reduce the number of dead campaigns where one faction is always dominating. Honestly it's boring going to Cyrodiil, very little action going on there. The other reason why they are doing this is because of the level imbalance. Level 10 can't stand a chance against a v12. If you're under level 50 you're as good as dead.

belugian✭if DC could have lower numbers on bloodthorn and higher on auriel's that would be for the best really. especially at night. we defended our scroll tonight but it was a little pointless. ( AD )Stradius (AD)1 -

Junipus✭✭✭✭✭It's always better as the underdog. I guested on Bloodthorn and it was so boring doing nothing but capturing AD home keeps and gate ganking.
My main is AB and it's always more fun as DC and an underdog to attack and deal with the zergs, especially around Chalman when EP and AD zergs meet and we pick off the edges and make a nuisance of ourselves.The Legendary Nothing0 -
belugian✭may be the guys with big guilds should be more proactive here about the campaigns choice. like ok i have 50 pvp players in my guild, we' re EP ( for instance ) and we'll be on xxx campaign. so other realms can try to balance those numbers on the xxx campaign etc.Stradius (AD)0
