There is 0 reasonable excuse to be against duels.

You can calc spells and see how fast you can burst a player or practice bolt escape chasing with duels.

Duels will be good for practice and friendly competition.

You got murder and drugs from dueling

Difference is murder and drugs can effect you regardless if you want to participate or not., while gay marriage ans duels won't effect you if you don't participate

What are you talking about? I read the thread and couldn't believe you would really compare dueling to bigotry, drug abuse, and murder. Lay off already, we get it, you want dueling.

But it's a LOT easier to test one specific ability in a controlled 1v1 situation instead of a laggy zergfest.

Like I'm 99% sure that some kind of shield charge combo makes me unable to get off my back (with full stam) but without someone to repeatedly shield charge me while I try different things (and heal) I can't figure out exactly what is doing it.

As much as I enjoy a 1v1, the game isn't going to be balanced for them and will just lead to more whining in the forums. Additional whining would be just a drop in the bucket at this point, but I don't blame Zenimax for not wanting to listen to more of it.
There are a lot of horrible players that arrogantly assume something is broken whenever they die, especially in 1v1 situations. Just because there is already a lot of bitching and whining in forums, doesn't mean creating more isn't a valid reason against duels.
