I have actually seen this myself. The scroll gets picked up a temple and seconds later it is deep within enemy territory. I have no idea how the cheat/exploit is being executed though.

If I were to guess, they might be using /stuck with the scroll?
Or PVE dying with the scroll on their back (there are ways to kill yourself without even being in combat, via potions and skills).
I don't understand why that doesn't drop the scroll though... definitely some bug.

Uh, bad idea to post how to do an exploit on the forums. I really dont want this crap to spread more than it has. Mind editing your post quickly?

The scroll was dropped and showed up at the Chim scroll, like RIGHT on top of it. Definitely an intentional exploit. I already sent in a report in game. Just sad it had to come to cheating. If they would have ran it as it was intended, AD would have taken it from them as we just capped Emp and were waiting for some fresh meat..

Agh, how could ep have fallen for this exploit bait? No one has used/thought of /stuck until now? Seems odd. Man are we not the men we have been aiming to be. The times.

People seem to be missing the point that the exploiter was from AB. Blame guesting and the transient exploiter, not Wabba EP. We were cussing out the guy left and right when he did it.

Yeah I bet. Just like when you shamed your faction out of making a railroad of caltrops into each and every siege. I'm not saying EP is any different (my faction was exactly the same) but I find cheaters (or approvers) are a large percentage.

Calls to not burn forward camps, to use the stealth-rez exploit (What the hell is that by the way - zonechat goes deadly silent when I ask because people seem to want to protect the cheat). I don't join large TS because I play solo/with a small group of friends for performance reasons. So we're not au fait with all the exploits as a result.

Chat spies are every bit as bad as DK-chain traitors, caltrop exploiters and other hacks/cheats etc. It's just not in the spirit of the game. There is no "spy" mechanic. There's no danger or countermeasure. It's a straight up cheat.

But from what I've seen in PVP that's how half the people get their rocks off - exploiting and cheating. The sole purpose of some people in this game seems to be to avoid, at all costs, intended rules of engagement and game mechanics and find loopholes/exploits. Like this "stealth rez" bug everyone is demanding people do in zone chat. I don't even know how to do it or counter it (I assume you can't).

I just play by the rules and have fun. I deliberately avoid exploits couldn't care less if I die or if I'm "bad at pvp". It's quite therapeutic. You poor, troubled souls should at least give it a try. Take it one day a time. Try not cheating.. just for one day.. and see how you feel.

    Amen bro.

The exploit did the following: 1) They picked up the scroll and ran it to Rayles which they still controlled. 2) One guy dropped it and another guy picked it up. 3) Then all of a sudden the guy who picked it up was across the map and at the northern gate with the scroll 3) He proceeded to place the scroll in a keep controlled by EP.

The thing is - we had Dragonclaw back and Ales captured - so they would have had to run south and around to get it home. With all the AD on that time of the morning there was little chance they would get it home either north or south eastern path - so they cheated.

IDC that much about scrolls in this campaign. They change hands so often in this campaign really is w/e. But - the fact that people would think that's ok - well - that's not OK.

I bug reported it and took a screenshot of where the scroll carrier was with the scroll. One can only hope they fix it.

I find it ironic that an AD is whining about cheats and exploits.

If this is happening, it's not cool. But as others have pointed out, scrolls change hands so much in Wabba it is kinda "w/e".

The spying/cheating debate here is far more interesting. Justify it anyway you want spies, you are cheating. This isn't real-life where there are potential consequences for what you are doing, so don't compare it, that is naive and illogical.

To those who are bothered by the spies: stop planning in zone chat. Guild up and group up if you want to have an impact on Cyrodiil. As it stands you're just zerging and being manipulated by the grouped guilds that are strategically sieging keeps anyway, and most of the raid leaders in Cyrodiil know where the zone chat zerg is headed long before it does.

Attention Zenimax: Stamina builds don't hold up to magicka builds, and this is causing most of your class imbalance. It makes melee weapons and bows weaker than staves and class abilities. It makes medium and heavy armor less desirable than light armor. Fix this imbalance, and you'll address most of your balance issues.

Hey AB Dominion here, yea some prick DK on a AD alt was pulling EP players over the walls of keeps and snatching the scroll without breaking the outer walls. Sorry he went to your server.

He even told EP everything we were discussing in zone chat. When we found out, we all grouped up and talked only through whispers and group chats, we ended up stopping them dead in their tracks and pushing them all the way back to their gates when they no longer knew what we were planning.

please, over four weeks ago when I joined wabba..it was DC guilds who were greeting me in closed courtyards of Keeps that EP owned and it was common knowledge they had DK spies chain puling them into keeps.

Then it was AD ninja jumping gates to get scrolls from temples while gates were closed.

We all know the Alliance where the vamp sploits originated...then it was caltrops...same alliance.. :)

so.....Finally 4 weeks+ later you all catch some EP guy who decided to even the playing field and WE as a whole are the "big bad cheaters"?...Please continue while I ROFlmao.

Why would we need spies if most players have alts, other characters they play seriously and level up in different alliances? Play for one in the morning, then in the afternoon play for the other and let everyone know what the opposing team is doing. Haven't seen it myself in EP thankfully.

Umm.... that's different than "spying" how? If they're playing "seriously" why would they let everyone know what the opposing team is doing?

They're exactly the kind of cheats we're talking about. The other kind, the more ridiculous kind, is the kind of cheat that costs 15 dollars a month.

lol spy... I don't know whats worse, exploiting or spying.

spying is allowed, might want to read up on the rules ....or just read the alliance section description....

Thats pretty frikken amazing. You JUST said "they exploited and said w/e its allowed" like that was a lame excuse and then you respond to someone calling you out for spying by saying "w/e its allowed". Do you even read your own posts?

Wow the tears in this thread are hysterical.

The lot of you are kind of pathetic. Keep pointing fingers at each other. Every alliance has these scrubs. No one is right and no one is wrong.

Deal with it. While you keep crying about EP we will keep winning the campaign. Can't wait to see the cheater threads then but the campaign was yours DC and we took it from you.

All this talk of spies - I am surprised everyone does not just ASSUME that there will be spies. Guilds are cross faction, so that alone means the potential for "spying" is unlimited. There are already a good number of dueling guilds, I wouldn't be surprised if there were spy guilds as well.
