What level did you get your horse?

I see people riding around that are level 16 and have a horse already. I'm lucky to have 3,000 gold at level 16 cause I die so much and spend so much on repairs.

Of course, I'm playing solo. I join people sometimes but mostly play single which makes it much more difficult.

I'm wondering if they were able to save up 14,000 gold for their horse by level 16 or if they were able to do it because they played in groups or if friends loan them the gold.

Oh yeah, forgot, they maybe BOUGHT their gold to get their horse.

Just wondering if I'm that bad of a player or if they are they good that they can accumulate 14,000 by level 16.
If I wanted a Signature I would have a Signature --- but i don't want one so I don't have one.

Either they have a main (if its a dark horse) If its white or tan those are from ESO store and or they bought the imperial edition and bought the horse for 1g.

Yeah, I got the Imperial Edition and all 5 of my characters got a horse at lvl 3. If you don't focus on crafting, you can get a 17k horse by around lvl 15. On my sorcerer, I've been vendoring everything that isn't blue or better. Sorcerer was lvl 15 when I hit 20k gold.

Also, you can put gold in your bank and share it with your other characters. A VR character has the ability to make a bunch of gold, put it in the bank withdraw on another character and buy...anything, really.

I am V3 and have no horse.... Seems over priced for the way I play. As to your repairs, you realize it is cheaper to make new than to repair? I rarely used dropped gear as the crafted better fit me (traits, glyphs and such).

Many just have another main and by the time you reach lvl 20+ coin really starts rolling in (compared to 1-20).

Lots of people have the Imperial Edition or the Palomino, so they can have 2 horses at level 3 for a total of 12g.

I easily had enough money by teen levels to buy a full price horse because I burn time harvesting resources, refining them for mats and then selling the ingots etc... Even at 400g per stack to in game merchants you can make money quite fast if you are willing to put in the time.

Don't assume everyone who has anything more than you has cheated... Some will have done but many others have done the work and might take offense at the implication they are cheats :)

those horese are cheap and in the long run you would be wasting money on feeding them, since you will need to pay for the good horses still full price. Ex: i have an Imperial horse LVL 50 all for bag spce, but there is another horse for 47k that has 10 more spaces, soooo that 49X250g down the drain

    ...

Level 4 - imperial horse, 1 gold, feeding oats for carrying capacity
Level 28 - Light horse, 42k gold, feeding apples for speed

You shouldn't be spending so much on repairs. As suggested earlier in the thread, sometimes craft your own gear instead of repairing it (I repair sometimes, and craft other times), but by level 16 you should have quite a bit of spare gold.

Boy, you would have hated this game at launch. Repairs were WAY more expensive back then.

No, Niliu, I'm not whining :) I'm wondering how they did it. If I had known I could get a horse simply by buying the ICE edition I would have ... and now I probably will.

So you see, Niliu, I learned ONE WAY people get a horse so early.

First char got horse at L25ish, second had horse at L20.

I never spend money on repairs for chars levelling up. Wear whatever drops, stats aren't that important, and replace it when it gets at low %.

Imperial, never. At least eight alts later it's still, I assume, in the stables.

    Can I sell it?

Same day I hit 50, actually.

Every gold from day 1 went into bag and bank space till both were 100 then I saved for a light horse. Went kind of slow because I do multiple crafts and decon about everything, but I got there soon enough.

I got mine very early, like level 5. However i never use it, I feed it every day tell it hit 50, just feeding it to expand my total carrying. I craft a lot so I like to farm mats as I go from area to area, I even rarely use WayShrines in zone.

Two lowbies had 42k horses funded by main.

Dreamcypher has gaited, Imora(not in sig) has light horse. Lissana has light. Fjalar has imperial fed solely for speed and it looks weird so I stop feeding for speed at 35-40%.

Stupid 65% looks like it trips on everything constantly.
