Who is not frustrated by this?
I am frustrated and im VR12.
They should boost you to VR5, and i dont know what they are waiting for.
But my advice is to be realistic and level up to VR1.
How is the fact that people are VR 12 exploiting the fact that you are still level 10?
They should make a BG for all sub level 40 characters to go play in - you really are just cannon fodder taking up slots for the big boys to play in.

I went into PVP at level 10, and got 2 shotted by VR12s pretty often. Anyone else frustrated with this?

what if they exploited to VR12 in 3 days?:/Dleatherus wrote: »I just rolled a NB alt who is now level 13 named Stands in Puddles - he entered Cyrodiil yesterday at level 10 and hasn't left since - no more PvE for him! - some of you on Skull Crusher and Celarus might have seen a large portly orc sailing gracefully through the air with the ambush ability
not only am I NOT frustrated, I'm having a blast!
sure i can get 2-3 hit killed by VR12's - and they have every right to do so having levelled their toons up
i don't even bother wearing any armor with him since the lowbie gear i wear has no effect after i get boosted up to level 50
it's MY choice whether to enter Cyrodiil at such a low level or not, and to accept the risks and rewards accordingly
with just a little patience (something that seems to be lacking in many gamers these days), i can wait for the right moment in a fight and use the couple of lowbie abilities that I have unlocked to my advantage - nothing sweeter than getting the killing blows in on a VR5-VR12 character with him
the survival and pvp skills I am learning with him right now at lowbie levels will put me at an advantage when i get to VR12
good job this isn't a full loot pvp sandbox - i'd hate to see the QQ's then!

not everyone has the time to reach VR10 just to play PvP. Telling people to "go level" is wrong, as not everyone has the time, nor are they willing to use exploits to get there:/ im not saying make it to where a lvl 10 can kill a VR12 in a straight up fight, that is nonsense, im saying make it to where pre VRs can do something besides scout and use catapults the whole time. Let them at least be able to stand up to the Vr players, so they can still have some fun, and not get discouraged from PvP when they get killed din 2 shots by everything

I disagree - in beta the campaigns were successful because they were populated
being a level 10 toon and wanting to go toe to toe with a VR12 is one of the most ridiculous things i have ever heard - as stated above i'm playing a level 13 toon in Cyrodiil
just use a little creativity and a little thought and you can be very effective - having played this toon already in low pop and med pop campaigns here are some tips as to how you can not only make it work, but have FUN and level at the same time - adapt them for your own class and play style
if you are running with a group of players hang out more at the back and let the higher ranks take the brunt of the initial exchange - i use a bow (you could use a destro or restro staff) and get in some very effective heavy attacks - when I see my target is weakening I use ambush and then the soul harvest ultimate - if things are a little hairy i use shadowy disguise and fall back in the mayhem - rinse and repeat
if you are in an underpopulated campaign defending a keep you can use the same tactics, but wait for the enemy to engage the npc guards before jumping in - remember you are low level and will need to to jump in/jump out quickly and often
i have even solo snuck along with guards patrolling outside a keep that has gone under attack and jumped folks either on siege weapons or running into the breach
and whether attacking or defending, you do just as much damage at level 10 using a siege weapon as a VR12 does
auto boosting everybody to VR12 would make actual leveling so boring and hollow because you wouldn't really be leveling your character as much as your skills
folks should try using this:
instead of always wanting this:

The problem is that I need PvP to keep from burning out on PvE, but I can't PvP until I grind to VR12. I'm thinking about just giving up and playing something else.
MasterSpatula wrote: »That seems to be going in the wrong direction to me. The inclusiveness of everyone was one of ESO PVP's strengths to me.
I tried PvP at level 10 on my NB and Sorc. Both couldn't take anyone above 50 (vrX) down past 9/10 life. For me, it wasn't a good indication of what character I would like to pursue more. I really only have time for 1 level 50 in an MMO. No opportunity for countless hours every night leveling and grinding to be competitive.
Simply, I did not get a good gauge as to either character. Taking a guess at what they will be like at vrX to me...is discerning. I guess it is no different than any other MMO other than one such as GW2. My issue was that if I was to play a NB, I would expect to kill faster since it seems bursty single target. With the sorc I would expect the same. Not being able to determine damage scale was my true concern.
Do I think level 10 characters should be able to hit as hard as vrX players? No
Do I think level 10 characters need to be buffed in RvR? Yes
I think the best solution would be to have 50+ RvR and have sub 50 RvR. I guess this could promote twinking in some fashion but is really the only thing I see as being viable.
