We do the same dmg as sorcs can at 28 meters but have to be in melee range with no mobility skills like sorcs or templars have. Yay? Just saying... DK are about even with everyone else now but night blade veil of blades s a superior ultimate hitting harder, providing three times the damage mitigation, and 1.5x the mitigation to their allies.
DK Talons are now unable to catch a dodge roller without pre - chasing where you think they'll go as they are melee range, too. Not necessarily a bad thing but people are kidding themselves to be demanding more dk nerfs from here. Sorcerers and night blades both are superior at this point, sorcerer for range dmg and mobility, night blade for veil, mobility, and burst dps (they can match a dk easily with proper dot spec for sustained in raids).

I can accept that we have a good ult in Veil of Blades, but I have no idea where you're getting this superior mobility & burst damage. Please explain, as I'd love these things on my NB!
My NB has ambush for in-combat teleporting and initiation with stealth damage bonus, dot stacking, 50 cost high-burst-dmg ult + heal debuff, concealed weapon spam for low resource cost, and ranged specs that are good for DPS'ing, all make those three statements true. Oh, and we also get shadow image if you really want another teleport for some reason. Add in dark cloak letting us move at high speed in-combat (we gain stealth speed from concealed weapons and vampire passive) while invisible and auto-stopping any casts against us, and we have amazing mobility and burst damage in pvp. EDIT: Forgot to mention that we have an executewhich does huge damage (850-950 + can crit upwards of 1500+ with killer's blade) as NB's. DK has none.

He's obviously never played a NB. I always bring up the fact that: NB (and templars to some extent) are literally being ignored for trials because of how bad we are compared to everyone else.
read: We're so bad we're not even a candidate for trials (Obviously for most groups. I know some guilds and blah blah, but as a whole)
edit: Forgot to mention something. We literally have a topic just for NB and it's future fixes. We are so bad we're getting special attention so that we have hope.
LOL. My just-shy-of-VR10 live NB (that did all up until VR8 inside of normal vet zones before Crag hit) would like to talk to you in PVP. So would my VR6 PTS NB that I played for about 4 months before launch. You talk of not playing an NB, well you may have one too but you haven't ever played it beyond begging for buffs apparently.

No, you don't understand. Templars are the worst class. NB's are firmly in 2nd place for worst class, I'll grant them that! You can't haz our trophy, NB's.
And, you should read a few of the reactions to people posting about Templar's and NB's plight in this thread, and the laughing out loud at DK's who say they will be underpowered now. This might shed some light on your confusion.

Weird, I rolled a DK on the PTS, played it for literally 5 minutes with a "single target skill setup" and still managed to take down groups of VR 11 mobs in Craglorn...
