That might actually be really interesting. It could be an alternative to the daedric summoning sorcerers have and be available to all classes, but the monsters would have to be a bit weaker than the summoned daedra (just so summoning doesn't become obsolete and it makes more sense for a daedra to be stronger than, say, a rabbid rabbit anyway). I'm not too sure about the mount thing though, as I can't logically see someone being able to ride a mammoth all through Windhelm or whatever. All I know is that I really, really want to be able to ride an antlered creature. If Thranduil can do it, so can I!

Any monster shouldn't be an option. But some? Absolutely. Even if they're just cosmetic. It would be a good opportunity to add more variety to the animals in the game, make some that could realistically be tamed (think shalk, not ogres)

Yea I don't see an issue with vanity pets, but nothing like ogres or trolls for sure. When tamable pets do damage or tamable mounts are as good/better than store bought mounts is where things get ugly.

That's why if they do it, it should be Skill line like Vamp or Werewolf, or better yet like a crafting skill. You have to make an investment to tame something nice. Also if they wanted to steal from SWG, they could also make so you need to learn special moves from other animals to train your pet.

No, I don't think that's a good idea. It's already annoying enough with 20 flappy's in every Bank haha. I don't think we need combat pets for each class.

I know that you want make me ridiculous but my idea is a good idea and i feel like it. Where your brain see pokemon i see mononoke with wolves or gandalf's eagles... we can imagine a kind of druid power allowing you an understanding of nature with the opportunity to have ONLY 1 pet following you even if you have 50 pets waiting for you in your stable, you can only bring one with you.

As I ventured through Craglorn yesterday and saw my first air atronach, I thought to myself: why don't I have one of these? It would be so cool to expand daedric summoning by letting you bind certain creatures to your will, or even by having some kind of thing like in Final Fantasy XIII-2, where you have a chance to receive a monster as an ally, the stronger it is the lower the chance!

This is actually a good idea , but they need to fix the game first before they add new content . Now on topics about pets , I would love to tame one of the Bloodfiends / Werewolf to fight right next to my main character .

I like very much to play pet classes and I always have. I think it's fun having one by your side fighting with you. That's my style. Sad part is that sorcerer don't appeal to me which is the only class that can.

No! Everyone would make the largest monsters in game their pet/mount then taking them into town. There's already been a few MMOs that did this but all it did was cause outrageous lag and often entire buildings blocked so you couldn't get into them.

It would be cool to have some tamable mounts, like guar or something like that. But to be able to tame anything as a mount would really ruin immersion; there would be nothing but a bunch of people riding around on Netches and stuff like that.

not any monster, and even then they should not be as fast or potentially as fast as horses.

i certinally dont want to see every tom *** and mary on a daedric titan, but i would not be adverse to bears, senche, or things of that nature, and even then they would start with the lowest of the low of stats, such as the imperial horse is at start

Why would you feel ridiculous about pokemon? Those games are freaking awesome.

I do agree there should be limitations on this system in ESO , but there are a lot of possibilities.
