Why does the patch notes link on the startup page of the game always take you to this page instead of the actual patch notes?

Maybe the link hasn't been updated since the latest change to the forum's structure?

Anyway, clicking the link you gave above leads me to a page where URLs to the current patch notes are given (blue box).

The thing is, that link always has lead to that page.

That has nothing to do with my OP. :)

    But thanks. :)

It isn' the page itself that's the problem, after the recent restructuring of the forum (when general discussion sections have been added), the Official Notes & Patch Notes now live here.

Not sure why they don't put the patch notes up before the maintenance starts.

They had a preview of them up yesterday, it's at the top of this section of the forums.

Right. So, that link should go to the actual page is my whole point.

They actually did this time around.... there's a preview of the patch. But all it results in, is a flood of diatribe and vitriol from players that just can't be satisfied no matter what they do.

The LESS they say, the better for them and us, who I am sure don't enjoy the usual diatribe and vitriol. Of course the need to never have to cross-reference is common sense.

Seems that is just coming from you.

This is the first post "vampire cost reduction still bugs when you die, any idea when a fix for that comes out?

    Where is the vitriol?

Second post "Awesome :D cant wait to see the rest if the fixes, will there be weapon buffs coming soon?"

I don't see this diatribe and vitriol from players...

I kept reading the thread and I did not see all results being anything like you describe.

    What?

They need more communication, not less.

I think they definitely need more communication. A preview of the repairs/fixes is great but I wish they just released all of them. It's not exciting to see half the repairs now and the other half later. It makes me scared they don't even know what they are themselves and that when we log back into the game later it's going to be more broken.....again.

Really, you have to click two links instead of one, and that's the issue you want brought up to the devs?

Are you asking or can you not figure it out?

It is a simple fact I was pointing out that could be fixed easy enough.

Do you have a problem with things getting fixed or are you just being a jerk on principle?

Ironic calling me a jerk after insulting me after every quote. My point is that the developers shouldn't be prioritizing a minor fix that inconveniences a very small minority of players.

It's not ironic, it's just true.

Where did I say this needed to be fixed today?

I just simply pointed out a link that was not going to the right place.

You proceeded to be a jerk.

    True story.
