Storm Atronochs are the biggest BS in this game (Not player summoned)

You can solo storm atronachs if you learn to dodge roll the snare they shoot at you. Once you get that down you can kite them all day long, if your trying to melee them though as a dps your going to have a bad time. In this rare case I will admit its a learn to play issue.
I wrote a poem that I titled, "The ganker's delight."

As you lay upon the ground, cry not little pawn.
The pain will pass as quickly as my blade did take you,
but my delight will last and you will respawn.
My heart simply cannot contain my joy, when I ply my trade.

The fault lies with you, your skill was lacking.
Now your salt is mine forever, can't you hear the laughing?
Once you were so proud and now you are reduced to this.
    A miserable, loud deuced fool.

With every tear you drip, with every excuse you let slip.
All of your insecurities and worries bring a smile to my lip.
From your despair I have ripped endless glories,
but our affair is over now. Be afraid for I will return for more.

I have received many titles, to my allies I am The sniper Emperor and Grand champion hero of the Pact. However these titles mean little to me, it is the ones given to me by my victims that I prefer. To them I am "Xv1er", "trash", "no balls", "zerger", "noob", "cringe", "no skill", "camper", "100% new", "the reason this game is dying", "pathetic", "a sack of piece of [snip]", "mediocre", "absolute inbred", "beyond a virgin", "ganky dork", "fat smelly 40yr old virgin", "little girl", "daddy", "exploiting loser", and every [snipped] word known to man.

There is a Solo Dungeon In Bankori with about 3 of these in it. The only way to Complete this solo dungeon is to kill them to get passed. 2 of them are in tight hallways so they are extremely hard to kite. Not all classes have the tools of a Sorc so the Sorcs in this thread claiming they don't have issues with these its just and advantage your class has with CC abilities.

Yep. I got lucky. Pulled one at a time and solod these. It was an endurance but fun fight.

I dont know abput other classes. But I dont use cc. Takes to long to cast. But if templer, dk or nb has a bind move and a delayed dmg atk mobe they can do the same thing.

Had to fight them in Malabar tor, v4. I can take them if I got my own atronauch ultimate ready, plus clanfnner.

Try to stay out of its range, throw shard and curse at it. Bolt away if it ever get close (not often with my two pets).

They are indeed toughest single unit monster among all mobs I had to deal with so far.

I may be able to deal with it with clanfnner alone, with fortified crab cakes, but would be quite dangerous.

You can't kite storm atronachs in any real way. Don't forget they have a snare that ALWAYS hits.
In VR for example a Storm atronach can 2-3 hit you most of the time.

Yup and there's a quest out there that require you to kill one. A normal, open world, 1man quest I might add. "Fun"

yep. I'm stuck at this quest at the moment (VR content). So frustrating to die 10 times, I just stopped playing... Bugs and poor monster design is getting to me.

From a sorcerer's perspective, I've build my character around kitting, snaring and eluding enemies to deal damage from a distance. On my AoE I have a short window of 6-7 seconds to blast things down before they blast me down.

All my tactics however is thrown of the pram with Storm Antronachs. Want to CC them? Forget about that. Want to slow them down? Nope, not that either. Want to knock them down? Naughty you, nope, not that either. How about sending some trusty pets ...... erm, minced meat pet.

So basically, what the game does is taking all the tools and abilities I have and build my character around and that works in 90% of the scenarios, rip them the shreds and throw them of the pram.

Same goes for some other elements of the game. Harvesters per example, 4 healing orbs healing for 25% each, dodge around AoE attacks, screeches and all that just to try and get them down, oh wait, I'm dead. At one stage they decided to place a harvester at every junktion, 2 at the "bigger" ones, impossible to kite, impossible to dodge. So I did the most sensible thing; stocked up on soul gems and ran till I died, resurrected, ran till I died. Reached the end after 5 soul gems and a 2k repair bill. Wuppdi dey, wonderful game design there.

So that's my experience of the game, and now I'm VR12. But I still remember those quests, going on a streak, manageable quests. Then BAM, rammed over the head with a club and left in a pool of my own blood.
