Look at the stats on the gear, that and magika furnace set. It's worth it. I use both.

One of the nice things about it that you only need 3 pieces to get the primary asset from it. It allows me to combine it with crafted and dropped sets depending on if I'm going as a mage or a healer.

As a lover of heavy armor, this is one of the biggest turnoffs for me.

Sure I want one, maybe two light armor guys but you sort of feel forced into these sets. Additionally why have armor rewards in all the quests if you are going to wear the same lvl 15 set to 49, get the same set in the vr1 version and wear it to vr12?

Are these guilds called Covens per chance? I think you fell in with the wrong crowd. Swing by the Temple of Arkay, we'll get you all fixed up. May the Nine bless you child, or the Eight if you are of that persuasion.

lol yep the set bonus is better than 90% of the other set bonuses. I have an extra set of Furnace (all 7 pieces) waiting to sell for high prices because they are soooo in demand right now.

Give me a Heavy armor warlock or magica furnace set. Its amazing how trash the Set bonuses are on these common drop sets for plate and medium armor users when things like magica furnace and warlock exist for the already massively OP cloth armor.

I don't want to here any crap about Plate armor AC etc.. 2 glyphs can bring a cloth user to the AC of a plate tank. There is nothing I can do as a tank to bring my spell cost down and spell Crit up to compare with a light armor user.

I'm a Templar tank I need Magica to do anything other than block. Give me a plate Magica furnace set!

I even wear my warlock set to bed. It will be upgraded to epic by the weekend and as noted above will probably go to V12.

Depends on your play style, if you are straight up damage magika damage those sets are the way to go. If you like sneaking and melee damage, medium armor is for you and most prefer Huntingtons rage set.

Why not just use warlock accessories to complete the 3 piece bonus? That way you can still rock it in plate armor.

Also, it takes 15 seconds and a melee attack each time to get back what Mag furnace gives you. Both sets are great but the warlock is just better because its condition for magicka return is basically whats going to happen anyway...youll go below 33%. The Mag furnace has specific conditions that will make the set void in certain fights. Having both is pro, having only one the 2 sets is not so pro.Unfortunately, that cant be done last time i checked.

Exactly what I did on my Templar. Well to Vr4 anyway.

It's less to do with the Warlock set and more to do with magicka being the highest damaging resource + armour caps being so easy to hit due to all the + armour abilities.

Also everyones gone Destro / Restro Staff. Cause stamina based abilities are broken and all class skills are magicka based. Even for NB / DK's.

Maybe because magicka costs scale ridiculously with levels and regeneration in this game is equally ridiculous? Especially for templars who should be able to wear heavy armor to melee dps, but are forced to wear some cloth and use warlock jewlry just to have bad magicka regen. Without it we are hopeless.

Well the old blocking shield bash attack used to be a good stamina ability before the nerf.....oh and so was the powerbash in 1h/sheild before its nerf. Oh yeah and immovable could be a great stamina skill except it doesnt give the immunity to all disabling effects as the description reads...lets see what else....

Oh yeah and dodge/roll as stated in eso guide by eso.

Dodge – players will be able to dodge most incoming attacks (providing they have the stamina to do so), either by using a dodge roll, a teleport or manually moving away from the danger zone.

Except that dodge/roll does not dodge most incoming attacks. Ever see a crystal shard incoming and dodge it? I can, except it just heat seeks to where i dodged too lol.

What else....i can use up my stamina based skills in a fight and then be unable break out of a cc effect or block yet a magicka based player can use all his magicka and even have a stamina ability slotted and not have to worry about not being able to break out or block. How about some break out skills that cost magicka hmm?

I like that part about the dodge, when your out of stamina how are we suppose to do this?
Strangest part is, in the early phase of the game being a NB is pull almost all my attribute points into Stamina with hardly any into Magicka, low and behold when I hit 50 strangely I have just as much Stamina as I do Magicka. What gives?

That is the exact reason I rolled a magicka based guy...I wanted my attacks to come from magicka and totally leave stamina for running and rolling out of danger. I guess I'm just a better planner than others:)

Though on a serious note, because of the above, I think stamina based attacks need a big buff just because of this issue.
