do you believe that ZOS is going in the right direction with PvP?

I think you have come to the wrong conclusion on the first two points at least. Impulse, standard, and talons- ie braindead OP AOE spam should not be associated with the word "skilled".

lol, more like baddies shouldnt stack up and cry about getting dominated by aes.

my group has never died to this "op aoe spam" as you call it, yet we have wiped huge zergs with it.

this isnt rocket science, they are dumbing down pvp because they must cater to bads, thus pvp has dropped to the point where its less than medium pop on the weekends.

When one cheesmode thing gets fixed another one replaces it immediately. First you had the CC then bash. It was hilarious. I had a templar once javelin me over then run up and spam bash 100 times. You had all classes doing it. BASH BASH BASH BASH. Then they lowered the damage on it, now you have Sorcs using Streak + Stampede, they streak over you making you take a knee (which most people I have noticed cant bash out of 100% of the time bug maybe I dunno) then charge you with the 2 hander for crit strike rinse and repeat. Its the new cheesmode garbage. That and I've noticed the horrible return of batswarm at least on Celarus. Until certain moves have cooldowns so you cant just spam them over and over and over again combat in this game is just going to be the same spammy BS endlessly.

I dunno, it's not bad. We keep finding things to complain about but on the whole it could be worse.

Ask anyone who experienced the Arrow Cart wars of GW2.

Not that I want them to get complacent. It's a long way from perfect.
'Clever' sigs get old real fast - just like this one.

The game has HUGE potential to be fun. And I've had days where the game is a total blast. I want to see it do well, but the lack of addressing issues in PvP is killing the game for myself and many other people I know who play. At this point I'm more frustrated with Zenimax's slow / no response to many of these issues than I am with the actual issues themselves.
    Cyrodiil Issues as of 6/3/2014
    - Massive Lag since Craglorn patch.(Still bad lag on "Laggajack" NA and some other campaigns.)
    - Forward Camps and other Siege bugging out frequently
    - Caltrops granting Immunity to Siege Weapon Damage
    - Massive Faction Imbalances in Most Campaigns / Several Dead Campaigns
    - Mercenary Mage Spam (sometimes causing them to go invulnerable)
    - Players exploiting Keeps/Scrolls through DK Chain Pulls to go around defenses

    Yay Zenimax is doing things.

Posting that you are un-subbing is more of a threat then a statement.

No, it's a statement that I am not happy with the state of their game. I'm not threatening ZOS or any of the devs. I'm telling them that I am not happy with their product and will spend my money else where until they can fix their product.

Saying I will un-sub IF... could be a threat... I guess. I already did un-sub though. So it's more like a statement. See?

If you unsubbed then why are you still here? Serious question not trolling. If you have lost faith in the game and will no longer invest your time why continue to come back?

    Two things......

The Caltrops bug is gamebreaking, the ability to completely negate siege weapons in a siege environment drastically alters the game mechanics and tactics in a negative way. If a small, coordinated group cannot hold off a larger zerg by taking advantage of choke-points and well placed siege weapons then all you have is a zerg fest trading keep captures.

Secondly, if you have not experienced the summoning of mercs spam then I question how much you have actually been in Cyrodill and the validity of your opinion on these changes. If you have not tried to capture a keep stocked with summoned mage mercs that cannot be targeted or take damage, then you are in no place what-so-ever to declare that "PvP is getting better."

You literally have no idea what you are talking about. Please inform yourself before making ridiculous claims.

Right. No idea. I'll just enjoy my PvP then and you can quit in a rage.

(My lack of experience with mercenaries is due to mostly soloing, BTW. I'm not all about taking keeps. Either way, I didn't make any claims about mercenaries explicitly for this reason. That in no way affects whether my opinion counts on all the other points. And it is, afterall, an opinion. Everything in this thread is a matter of opinion and I have every right to talk about mine.

So the guy that has limited-to-no experience with two of the largest bugs in PvP should have his limited experience valued at the same level as others who have seen these bugs be exploited time and time again?
No, it doesn't mean that you are not allowed to voice your opinion, it means you are in no place to reasonably asses the state of PvP.

I still say the VR's is what killed/killing PvP. Terrible design too have it that inbalanced.

Absolutely. The player population will tell you how they feel about PvP. During the beta weekends and early access, the campaigns were busy and the players were having fun. As more and more vets showed up, the player population has dropped drastically; they are not having fun.

Significant imbalances, like early vampires, will also affect this, as players stop having fun when they cannot contribute or don't stand a chance. But issues that still allow them to have fun, such as caltrops, are more tolerated.

And as the population dwindles, this causes a domino effect as more people stop pvping due to the low pops.

If you want to improve PvP, you have to start with the problem keeping most of the players from having fun, and bring back the magic that the beta weekends had.

I wouldn't know, I really don't PvP anymore with the caltrops bug.

I think Lowbei pretty much hit the nail on the head. What seemed like a next generation DAoC turned into a completely McDonald's style "for everyone" system that rewards the people that drool on themselves.

Just look at all the Campaigns...when they were completely full pre-launch and dead now, should tell you the story and direction of the PvP in this game...the DEVS hate us nothing more!
