I know what you mean. I installed a GTX 660 in my Mac Pro a couple of weeks ago to play ESO.

It was running perfectly with graphics on Ultra-High until a few days ago, and now I'm noticing serious lag even on High. It's particularly bad in busy places such as Daggerfall. Any ideas how to fix this?

Something is wrong at your end.

After patch even before the weekend, everything looked soooo much better and feelt smoother.

I asked around and there are even people in these forums that have seen this change. Its a VAST improvement in graphic loot and ..muuuch smoother.

You need to ask support why it doesnt look better on your system, then you need to check your system that it supports these changes.

Seems to only affect some GPUs
The last patch included an update to improve performance but for me it made it worse.
The game ran nicely before and now it's horrible, I've had to reconfigure my video settings (down) to get back to the FPS and stability I had pre-patch.
Still some random freezing and FPS drops.

My lag went up, performance went down, I lost FPS, and the game seems to be on a constant delay now. I'm not impressed with the new patch myself.

I did find if you use the windowed full screen option instead of the new broken full screen option it helps a little bit.

My performance went down after the patch too. Radeon 6800. I was running ultra high pre patch with lag only popping up on prime times in crowded cities. After the patch I have it down to medium with big lag spikes all over, not just crowded areas. I've tried disabling add-ons, made sure the launcher was closed and playing in windowed fullscreen mode with no improvement.

Before the big patch I ran the game at low/medium 15-20fps. After patch and after memory leak hotfix I'm running the game on medium/high 40-45fps. Best part is this is all running on a laptop I bought last year for 275 dollars at bestbuy.

There are at least two flavors of lag - I occasionally see frame-rate drops in certain areas with lots of atmospheric effects, but otherwise, my graphics performance is pretty good before and after patch. The lag I see more often though does not appear to have anything to do with graphics performance. Key presses stop responding or have much longer than normal delays. While this is happening, the display is still animating just fine.

There was a memory leak after the patch. The hotfix was supposed to repair this in most machines. If you still got the memory leak submit a report and your specs.
