50MB patch just now?

I just got a 50MB patch when I ran the program 5 minutes ago. Anyone know what this was for?

    yeah I saw that wondering ig that was fix. Seems to good to be true to be the fix

    I'm really hoping it's to fix the crash/rollback issue, but I don't see any posts about it.

    It's probably a new executable and/or additional necessary files to fix the leak being that size.

    that is probably the memory leak fix, that d/l is replacing the eso.exe file thats causing it all (im probably wrong, just a guess)

    Check the date modified of the files in the 'client' folder.

    Yeah, they said they were going to try to get a hotfix for that out today, so it would make sense.

    well it stopped my memory leak ... just to let people know , its been sitting at 646.7 and hasnt moved, and ive been sitting at the login screen for 5 mins now

    Yeah seems to have addressed the memory leak. Now I hope they focus on the rollback issue.

    Memory leak has been fixed it seems, or at least for me. This is good news for all those having issues playing for more than 20 minutes :)

    I'm still waiting on an official post about it. I don't want to open the launcher if I'm going to expose my computer to the memory leak. This whole situation has me even more loathe to play...

    Yea. There was still some stuff the previous patch hadn't broken.

    It was the memory leak fix. I can finally play with ultra-high settings. It's running at 1GB ram for me which is much better than before this fix.

    I have played for 2 days since the patch with no issue from a memory leak.

    50 mb download on NA megaserver. Had to hit Update button after getting the gold old Patch Manifest Error.

    I tried it on the EU setting. No file yet for the EU megaserver. Looks like ZOS is using the NA players as the guinea pigs.

    I think ZOS CS went home already. The patch hasn't been announced on their twitter feed yet.

    I bet the bots found ways to implement patches of their own to just steal your credit card info so you dont have to buy gold from them/they dont have to bot

    Since that 50MB update I can't log at all. Game crashes on loading screen right before character selection.
