Mages need a NERF bad.

I was in Cyrodiil doing some of the mines and such and finding the Skyshards. When along comes a VR1 mage killing everything in sight very easily and I am struggling to stay alive at lvl VR5 sword and board DK . Something is seriously wrong with this picture. So I think to make things balanced a big NERF for sorcerers is in order. Oh by the way, if you disagree, TOUGH I don't give a skeever's tail !

Yes a DK dying easily to a sorceror. Maybe u need to rethink ur build before calling for nerfs.

Also, ZOS only nerfs those abilities that dont need to be nerf (WW corpse eating, NB, biting jabs ....). The more ppl that ask for something to be nerf the less likely it will happened

The mythical mage, never seen one of those. Are they as rare as leprechauns or unicorns? Or more along the lines of the Easter Bunny and Santa Clause?

Apparently some sort of rare mythical creature. That would explain why the OP is getting his a** handed to him.

Didn't you read the little tip on the loading screen OP about the world of Tamriel containing rare creature that are harder to kill than most. I suggest grouping with some friends to slay the foul beast.

That's one of the reason why I left WoW behind..

Instead of nerfing what's WORKING, how about buffing the cripples? Nerfing is NEVER a positive change. Don't be THAT guy....

It gets even worse. It has galaxies ,galaxy clusters and super clusters, black holes and super massive black holes and that is just to name a few. The balance is all ****ed up

^^ Well, bitching worked to nerf DK's into the dirt. I see no problem here. Problem is, you dont nerf a class that's working. You fix a class thats not IE NB's. Nerfing something and calling it a fix is like taking an animal to get it neutered and calling it a "fix".

Now that it's already happened, they can add one more cripple to the list. Why dont we all fight naked and unarmed with no skills... thats where this road is leading.

I think you people are missing the point the OP is making.

It's frustrating as a melee class to struggle with a 3 mob group only to see some caster prance along in his pretty robe and AOE down a group of 6 with nary a scratch.

I think I may have stopped caring when I read "sword and board DK". I apologize, but I am unable to feel any sympathy for players that ran the interrupt spam spec.

I main a Nightblade so I know how your struggle is as a melee. Unfortunately I find myself laughing at you because your 2 buttons no longer work. (kinda like pyrotech in SWTOR)

I do wish I could feel some sort of empathy towards your plight...but it's hard to concentrate *holds back tear*...when I'm...*sniffs*...laughing so much! :P

All I can say is: Watch the videos of the trials speedruns. You can count the number of melee players, combined over all the guilds that did them, on one hand.

Ok so nerfs are bad... well the entire concept of melee viability in the world of ESO needs to be taken a good long hard look at.

Melee is useless in comparison atm.

The truth is that at this moment there are only two types of builds.
Has Volcanic rune builds and needs to L2P builds. Most people use Volcanic rune builds.

Sorcerers don't need a Nerf. You just need to learn how to play your class. Just because you saw one guy face rolling you automatically assume its because of the class he's playing? And ALL the people that play a sorcerer must be that good?! And It must not have nothing to do with his skill and/or gear!! Please I really hope you're not that ignorant.

um yeah...i think your missing the point, how annoying is it to die from ranged archers, casters and bosses that can't be CC'd only to see a fat stupid bumbling tank roll in there in his bucket helmet and absorb and block all the dmg and take'em down?

(really dude read what you type...OFCOURSE mages are supposed to AOE big groups down, theres ALWAYS an aoe mage class if you don't like being a tank then reroll..)

And DK were not nerfed, they were fixed! It was a fix! They were OP compared to the others. But I can understand why people are upset about the fix. A god would have a hard time adjusting having his powers stripped and competing with mortals.

DK class should be slower on the kill, but far less likely to die. It would appear to me the DK needs better defensive improvement passives. The problem here may stem from the fact that everyone has the same armor possibilities, so they may have toned down the heavy armor effect.

I do play a mage, it does make the early kills fast. It also fades quickly and it can go from full health to dead in a blink.

Nah . That wasn't a nerf just a stat display glitch fix.
