can't login to the game and no answer from customer support!!!!

    That's a pretty good idea,I do have the disc space and will probably look into this more

    @cullothiel‌ Knowing my luck I'm could be the on that could have logged in but decided to reinstall the game. Lol but who knows, I'm not expecting much but wish I could at least attempt to log in.

    At least you got some sort of reaponse. How long did it take then to get back to you?

    I am having the same issue after being unexpectedly dropped out of game at 3am PST Saturday. Have attempted numerous things to try and fix the issue to no avail. To be clear, when I attempt to login after entering my password it cycles with the "attempting login" message until it times out and then when I reenter the password I get an error code 301 (3:1:1229:90098) message. I have filed a customer service ticket on this matter, #140525-000300. Hoping they get this rectified soon.

    Honestly my finger is hovering over the damned cancel subscription button ... 'oooh big threat, one guy unsubscribing, bet they so worried!' ... when I unsubscribe, my brother will also unsubscribe ... if my brother and I unsub, so will my brother's housemate ... then 2 more friends who never play at release due to this sort of crap won't be playing in a month or 2.

    THIS IS HOW YOU KILL YOUR MMO, you bloody idiots.

    Not only that, I'll have to deal with my girl, who will demand that I get my money back for buying a shonky product that fails to deliver it's end of the bargain. Thanks for that,

    I am happy to see that some of you are getting to login.
    I still have the same problem.
    Each login attempt continues to results in alternating responses:
    "login timeout" .. "error 301" .. "login timeout" .. "error 301"

    Is it just me or can nobody else ping launcher.bethesda.net ?

    I did have a response from them, and now waiting for another response (6hours so far this time):

    Doesn't really matter, I'm calm now ... cancelled sub and commenced redownloading the EVE client, so they have until that's finished to get me back in otherwise i'm resubbing to EVE myself. Not keeping multiple subscriptions active. My brother hasn't cancelled yet, but he's resubbed 3 EVE accounts now,he isn't sticking around. So they've lost 1 already, and in about an hour that'll likely end up being 5. Aah well, it's a nice game, too ... maybe try again in 6 months if we're still inclined.

    Haven't been able to play since an hour after main patch... like 3 days? it's ridiculous. But you know I am glad they fixed the escape key from disappearing during this time... I'm usually the level headed guy who doesn't overreact but come on, this seems pretty simple, we know what causes this error...

    Had the issue since the patch today, and i had no crash and logged out perfectly yesterday.

    My wife is playing ESO, too. We have the same connection, same IP and all. Her account is working fine. I can log in her account. She cannot log in my account.

    So honestly whatever you say this is NOT CLIENTSIDE.

    Restart you servers and fix that problem asap. I cancelt my subscription, too.
    And im pretty sure everyone who has this problem will do just the same.

    When i cant login until tomorrow i will, in addition get part of my payment for the game back, im pretty certain a good layer can do that, not because i care for the few bugs, but because im major pissed right now.

    I doubt any lawyer will fight to get your $2 of lost time back... as for the game amount... no one told u to buy a game that just came out and was bound to have issues

    Draz you're an idiot. I'm still hopeful, I really enjoy the game. I would like there to be a record of the consequences of the (lack of) action that has arisen from this issue. The customer service response has been poor, the technical service contact has been negligible and irrelevant.

    I couldn't give 2 *** whether you or anyone else says "no don't go, come back", but if ZOS are monitoring this thread as they claim, then I want them to know what happens when they jerk people around, plain and simple. I made no hollow threats on unsubbing, I told them if they didn't fix their crap I would, and when I did, I told them so.

    so ... all that's left to say is ... *** off and die, troll ... :)

    I received also a reply, that it should be OK now, but big *** is true, it is still not working, Timeout or error 301... I can not believe, that a provider can *** to their customer on the level, how Zenimax is doing it...

    I can live quite well with a game that has some bugs and stuff, this is like my 10th mmo and im very used to it. THe problem is stupidity of developers. Like 50 ppl in this thread alone are telling them its not clientside, and they answer stuff we should try on our client to fix the problem. But have they tried a server restart ? nope.
    This has nothing to do with any kind of bugs, this is plain stupid.

    And on the other thing. i dont know where you bought your game, but mine cost more than $2. Im very well insured, i can use a lawyer for free, so i would even fight for one lousy bug if i like to.

    I would love to meet your lawyer because any "good" lawyer wouldn't touch that case with a ten foot pole. As much as they can do for you is give you a tissue for your 50 cents lost. 15.00 / 30 = .50 a day if you couldn't log in today and tomorrow that would be .50 maybe a 1.00

    Still paid up for 16 days yet, troll, and still hopeful for resolution. If you like to put up with this sort of crap, then perhaps 'sub' is most definitely a term that suits you in more ways than one.
