I think the issue is people who think that the ones complaining are whiners are not the ones in the specific areas with severe issues. If your Sub V6 you don't see it. If you only played craiglorn after yesterdays patch you don't see it. If your in a V6-v10 faction area you see it.

Mobs with 75% more HP doing easily over 100% more damage. Being hit for 1300 damage at V10 in 6H/1L full legendary gear with sword and shield by trash mobs. Getting hit for 300+ damage while blocking with said shield. Ive tanked every vet dungeon in the game and have the speed run and undaunted achievement for all of them. I know how to play my class and I know it well. The massive change to the higher level sub craiglorn vet zones has to be a mistake or they intend for us to only do this content in a group and failed to mention this massive change in the patch notes.

They have posted an answer now, you can all relax a little.
Although I am sure now they have admitted a mistake you will start screaming for it to be fixed tonight. :P
    Hey guys,

This change was not intended, though some VR content and monsters are indeed more difficult after yesterday’s patch. We are working on a fix now to revert the difficulty back to what you were familiar with prior to patch 1.1.2, and plan to have this rolled out in the next 24 hours. Thanks so much for your patience!

@MrBeatDown‌ It's not about ZOS paying me for trying to maintain civility in the forums or your entitlement as a costumer, it's about them no being able to fix it in a few hours like you seem to expect. Slavery was abolished quite some time ago, and now there are laws that say how much an employee can work without calling it a day or at least resting. How do you know these guys weren't up for the last two days making last adjustments to the patch and then implementing it. Don't be so inconsiderate and impatient, they need to mine data to know what is causing the problem in every different system and then they need to look how to fix it, this takes a while.

So if the game is so unplayable at the moment go do something else or unsub. Otherwise present your concerns in a ordered matter so it is easier for the devs to know what's up.

Of course, why should we have to wait another 24 hours ! ! !

    :p

Seriously though, great and another 24 hours isn't going to hurt that badly. Especially to me as I'm still only on 73% downloaded

@Phantax I am in the exact same boat right now... re-downloading the entire client and on BT internet in a rural-ish area. :P

24 hours is a pretty solid time for a patch though, I will admit I'm impressed they plan to do it in that time frame, I would have expected to wait until the next patch date at least.

IMHO this game is on its way OUT ! This patch made the game unplayable for the melee and rogue classes especially at VR levels. They erased quest achievements . When you go to Cyrodill , you can literally see no one for hours just riding your horse around. I could continue my littany of problems but that would be useless because ZOS has demonstrated their inablility to fix most of the problems with this game. Just my 2 cents.

Why can't they acknowledge all the negative posts in regards to the new patch? Are they all wearing blinkers? Why was there no mention of VR mobs going on steroids? Nothing wrong with balancing out the game, but not like this.

How do you expect to keep your customers happy if this is how you handle situations?
I hope the majority of players cancel their subscriptions until this mess gets sorted out.

BTW I have not read one positive comment in regards to patch 1.1.2

And to all you that have no problem with the new update, good for you this does not concern you. Move along!

As others have pointed out (I hope) the Devs have been responding, and quite a bit too. Check the Dev tracker.

As for why they don't respond to every whiny little post demanding they respond? Maybe they have better things to do.
The only negative experience in ESO is those that make it negative.

I think it's more than it's over 12 hours since any comments, according to Dev Tracker. I suspect it's mainly because this is bigger than just community relations, so they'll have to get the right Dev information first.

I think the three pages of patch notes might disagree with that statement.

    Some highlights though.
    • Bank storage bug fixed.
    • Item duplication bug fixed.
    • Main questline bugs fixed.
    • Many minor quest issues fixed.
    • Falling through world fixed in most cases.
    • Over farmed delve bosses fixed.

No they haven't fixed everything and today's patch did create some new issues (which isn't uncommon in MMO patching) but the game is a WAY better state than it was a month ago.

    Really, nobody in Cyrodill... cool.
I might be able to get some mats farming done without being ganked every 5 mins...lol
Seriously though, yes there are a lot of issues (too many) but hey I'm fairly certain that they won't just put out a single fix in that 24 hour window. Ok they won't fix them all, but look at it this way.
How often do Zeni come out and admit they were wrong and then give a confirmed time for a fix ?

This time Zeni... well done (and you don't hear me say that often)

    I LOVE the patch...

PvP was a blast last night... Once they fix the caltrops bug it will be amazing...

It was just like beta, pretty even playing field, with no overly broken damaging mechanic being exploited. I am really happy with the patch.

Granted it did come with bugs, but what patch nowadays released in any MMO doesn't?

one that is properly tested on a real pts, not just testing the zone that they are making to please the no lifers that serged to vr 10

Or, perhaps were more patient, mature and understanding. Perhaps our entire lives are not hinged on one game and we play many games or do other things in life then play games. Perhaps many of us think these sort of things will get sorted out and perhaps [like myself] some feel the foundation for a great mmo is already here and it can be built upon. Also perhaps others are more positive in general.

QA is for finding bugs. Beta is for finding bugs. Playing the production version is for finding bugs.

In reality, the pts is not for finding bugs. Pts feedback is for influencing dev decisions. Better reason for being in the pts is to get an early look at raid instances so your guild can get world firsts or for eso, top times in the time trials. It's more about e-peen, not QA.

@ZeroTheCat the Nightblade has a pinned thread dedicated to it for feedback, debates, issues and updates. Note that this is the only class that has this right now, how much more do you want from them in regards to this class?

They're going to keep working on it but they can't patch every day to fix things, the community rages enough as it is if the server is offline for more than an hour.

My NB was getting face stomped after the patch. I'm VR 2 and was in the VR 3 area...

I can't really do the vr3 stuff solo now but it did force me to play with more builds and I found one I probably wouldn't have otherwise that is limping through the content (as opposed to me getting face rolled).

I guess the positive to the patch was it made me experiment and think through some new builds. Downside is at the moment I won't be able to progress solo....

Hopefully they tone it down a bit.

Lots of oops! in the patch history, eh? Intentional or not, this oops! slowed down progress in the VR ranks, basically increasing the gap between those leveling in VR ranks and those already at VR10.

Waiting for some oops! to affect VR10s. Oh, wait, they are now VR11 and VR12, right?

All of which were present in Beta with many people telling them as much. Yet they still launched the game with those bugs and more. Same thing with the current Craiglorn patch. All these new bugs are popping it. Some are to be expected sure but some of the major ones are pathetic. Memory leak, and the fact that they increased the VR5+ mobs in pve to make them have so much more hp and hit for harder. Sure they came forward and said they're aware of it. That's not the point. The point is that this patch was not properly tested to begin with. They rushed it just like they rushed this game. This game could of used another 6+ months of testing before hitting the market. But they wanted to launch before Wildstar when it was most profitable for them.

They might be looking into the issue and gathering information and statistics before making an official post on something, just because 100 players scream something is broken doesn't mean it's actually broken.
You also wont find positive comments often because the happy players are in game playing and having fun, forums normally consist of the negative minority complaining.

Now I have no problem with people having gripes or issues with a patch but whining, demanding, threatening in posts and not giving sufficient evidence, facts or usable information doesn't help ZOS or the community.

This, had users been smart they would gathered data from health and damage for various common enemies in all the VR zones.
Now its junk, people posting all over and mix it in with the bash nerf.

As its now they had no data to go with, they had the memory and rollback issues they confirmed early and would hotfix.
it did not hit uniform, from guild it looks like AD was little affected at least below VR7

In short they had to set up an testing group for this before answering.
