If only a small portion of your connection is done with COAX, then yes it will reduce the download speed. Especially when shared with neighbours, which is the case 99% of the time.(Normal connection is Backbone --> Distrubuter = Glassfibre but Distributer --> Home = Coax, yet they sell it being glassfibre)
Best connection is Glassfibre all the way into your home, this gives guaranteed speed:)

✭Mine is downloading just fine. First try on launcher and 2GB is downloading with 1.57Mbit speed. Very nice for my DSL 24/8. Usally max I get on torrents :-p
I live in Sweden, but that has very little to do with the download speed.

Good, the list of problems screamed of incompateble software. IF they fixed even most of these problems and probebly left some unsolved out of the patch, then I don't want to hear a negative PEEP about how "bad" Zenimax is working for their customers.
I only say this to people who has little experience in big MMOs that sometimes put on bigger patches then normal. WoW for example was down for days in its first year.
Its more common that a patch that effects so many different "systems", can and will go wrong. Patches like this is more normal to have a patch for the big patch, if not even 2 patches to fix the big patch.

Lol, this only getting better. I am waiting what my patcher is gonna do. Also was amazed at the 1,1 second delay on all melee attacks? Funny to see if this is true. Gonna have some giggles in here.
Oh yeah, and for the record, cancelled my subs, this has been so freaking embarassing to witness. I aint gonna pay no more for this. If this was F2P maybe could manage and try to get over these clumsy patches and lack of hot fixes, but not paying 13e per month for this beta joke version of a game, when there are so many F2P games around with way less frustrating problems.

Yeap, the game in itself is awesome, but too many faults just make it unplayable and take away the enjoyment. I am usually a hard dude to frustrate, but this game has done it on several occasions.
I could throw up some analogies and/or examples, but gonna just gonna gather my chi now so I can manage all the possible problems of 1.1.2.
