OP: your argument seems to be that dungeons are high risk, low reward activity. That may or may not be the case, but you pretty much distracted everyone from your point by focusing on your self-serving method of exploiting the prior system which enforced absolutely no fairness within the party in regards to chest loot. It's pretty asinine to expect that people are going to go along with your ideas if they involve exploiting your party (who apparently aren't as loot-obsessed as you are).

If you want to make a serious case about risk vs. reward in dungeons, focus on the party as a whole, not your unbalanced personal gains.
