Until I played since the patch I would have said undecided or yes; now my NB is thoroughly broken. Not sure whats wrong; whatever was wrong before is worse and it wasn't the strongest character before. And ZoS solution is we might get to it someday or it might just get broken more.

It;s a shame what they did to the NB.

well all I know is that all my friends that were down about the game thinks craglorn and the trials are amazing. its good end game nobody can deny that, had a few hiccups at the launch but big deal.

Nirn I know you are into pessimist *** but pretty much everyone in my guilds are in craglorn leveling or in a trial. I'm sure when more people read the forums you'll get more balanced answers.

Penny for my thoughts? OK. Well as to the OP I am undecided. For me I cant see where this game is going. I see a lot on the forums about what is wrong with the game, at the moment the big thing seems to be the memory leak. Spammers and bots are still a perennial issue, I have hope this could be big, this game could be truly epic...if it survives its birth.

At this point, its unclear what direction they are actually taking, so to say yes or no now would be knee-jerk.

But if I had to lean in one direction or another, I am rather concerned at how mechanics, shortcut keys, and rng are changing all the time, when the only people affected in the long term are those of us that play legit, while bot owners just rewrite their scripts and keep running around on their hacked accounts like a bunch of lemmings.

My other concern is balancing the game around pvp, when Im sure a majority of players are pve. this will only *** people off if it continues. I've watched it done in mmo's for over a decade, and it causes mass exodus's when pvp balancing continues ad naseum.

otherwise, its too early too tell.

Extremly happy. Havnt had this much fun in any game. Even beats skyrim and thats big for me.

I am in a nice guild that works together, open guildbank, daily groups. Explore. Tradeskills, jokes. cant wait to try the new and improved Cyro and when I am big and good enough, the new zone.

ESO is delivering what I been waiting for since everquest I think.

Obviously you have not yet been introduced to the "joys" of Veteran content ;)

I want to like the game. While the quests aren't breaking any new ground, the story lines are generally very well done. I haven't explored every area yet and I want to.

Undecided... mostly because I hope that tanking, melee, and stamina based builds have hit rock bottom already, and have nowhere to go but up.

    undecided

i think it could go ether way really..currently i could easily say no as i have not been able to log into the game in three days do to the login timed out error but that can be forgiven given enough time of being able to be played bug free or close to bug free at the very least. seriously think more time and testing needs to be taken before rolling these patches out in the future.

    Haters gonna hate.
    Fanboys gonna buy.

No point in such poll as it criticize current direction and doesn't provide clues what it should be if it is wrong at this moment.

Most subscribers don't come here because the forum is full to the brim of negative whiners. I only come to view the patch notes and sometimes browse a few topics.

I think the direction ESO is going is fine, they are listening to feedback and acting on it as we saw with the veteran difficulty increase being reversed.

It's a new game and it will take a bit of time to iron things out.

There are people on these forums who claim to know everything and have spent more time here than actually in the game. They trash talk the game like they know and have experience every micro detail about it.

Most people I have met in game don't complain, they have a few minor issues here and there but nothing so devious as to ruin your own life like some would have you believe.

    Not quite happy until:

    - The EU server is in Europe.
    - PvP lag issues are solved.
    - A non-vanilla justice system inspired by TES games is implied as devised. I'd prefer to see it as a bold part of the game, not just something limited or optional.
    - Guilds get the necessary PvP tools, including tags or similar, in order to make them instantly recognisable for others.
    - You can choose to level in PvP. why force us PvPers to play PvE?

These are all things that can make or break the deal for me - sources of potential excitement and frustration.

No, the addition of craglorn was ridiculous there's no point of adding such ahigh end content when most of the player base isn't there yet and even more so when the mid high level content such as vr 1-10 is lacking so hard.

btw so far I'm having a blast!

Yes and no. I would like to see ESO focus more on first fixing as many bugs in the existing content as possible before adding more code which will be buggy. I do like the changes that came in with the last patch, but perhaps a bit late for many people.

I believe they are on the right track. Everything from forum restructuring, to the bugfixes in game, & their attempting to combat the bot problem seems legit.

I am quite vocal on the forums, & often have a caustic edge to my posts; but make no mistake,

I DO enjoy the game; & am pleased with ZoE's efforts to listen to well thought out & presented feedback, even when it amounts to criticism.

I think they are figuring things out.

I would really be interested in knowing how the game is doing financially now that it's out - with hard data to support it, not just "Oh, it's doing fine because me and four buddies play it all the time." They made a mint pre-launch, for sure. To sell a game for $60.00 - $70.00 with no refunds or demos and a guaranteed fan base as large as the TES fans? No way to test it except to buy it?

Looking back, there was some writing on the wall.

I unsubbed - and then came back. You know what I did today? I spent four hours sorting through inventory on six different characters because making it any simpler to manage inventory is beyond the coding capabilities of Zenimax. You know, just like making a simple, editable .INI file for the keybindings. It's the little things, you know?

I really want to like the game but Zeni's making it extremely hard. And at this point, I'm not even sure they care. I mean, they say the words. I'm just not sure if they mean it.

Hopefully, things will change for the better.

(And I'm in for six months. If they don't turn it around by then, it's bye, bye.)

Eh....I would like more communication on their part, but on the whole I agree.

Vet content was borked, true...but having content get borked on patch day is kind of a given. It's why nobody raids on patch days.

The login issues are definitely a problem, and need to be fixed ASAP...nobody I know has that issue, so idk much about it other than what I read on the forums (which is mostly just people yelling about how they are going to quit because they can't log in for a few days, instead of details on what the problem is.).

The whole "it was group content, & I don't want to group, so the game sucks" thing just seems so odd to me. Yeah, they said "play as you want." But they never said "play as you want, faceroll everything, no skill required, everything is soloable."

They just said that you can play as you want, if you don't want to group, you don't have to (yes, that means you don't get to see the group content.) In other news, you'll never have access to the emperor skill line if you decide to never pvp. People complaining that they weren't able to see all the content, is what caused WoW's raids to get nerfed into the ground to the point where they can be done with a computerized looking for group system & no coordination needed or even typing out how certain fights work. please please don't turn ESO into wow....

I have to say this I feel at this point. This is just another 2 cents OK but I feel if an online game is an MMO an integral part of that MMO is group content. By no means does it have to be mandatory for everyone to group but no, they should and hopefully never will nerf the game to the point where, as example an at level player is able to SOLO a world boss or a group dungeon. I say this because any player who blithely states they dislike the game because for some things they may well have to group [or at least if not group, wait for other players to come and help you kill that world boss and make sure you get enough hits in] for if they intend to do, well that player has chosen the wrong game. Its not like there is not enough content you CAN do alone to easily get to the VR levels anyway. But honestly, some gear I feel should be won via group questing, though I do hope somewhere down the line ZOS offers alternative content for players who prefer to be lone wolfs.
