Full screen mode fixed or bugged?

I use dual monitors. Before the patch I was able to hit the "." button and move to my second screen.

Now, after the patch I cannot do that action. In order to move my cursor to the second screen, I have to it alt+enter and go out of full screen mode.

Do you think this is an intended action?

Not sure, but the game is truly fullscreen now, instead of being a large window.

That's normal behavior for true full screen applications.

Check your settings.

The previous "fullscreen" wasn't a true fullscreen but instead a window without borders.

It's now a true fullscreen. You'll need to set it to "Fullscreen(windowed)" to get the same effect.

True Fullscreen was needed for SLI/CrossFire to work.

I understand all of this but I'm having an issue with the change. When I select "Fullscreen Windowed" in settings, I still get true fullscreen. What I WANT is for it to be a window so I can play while still seeing my taskbar. I multitask a lot and I want to see the taskbar to see if I have notifications from chats and other programs. Is there a way now to do a true fullscreen windowed mode? (I want it to look like it looks when I have an internet window open and maximized...I have the max/min/close buttons at the top right and the taskbar is visible across the bottom.

Can anyone tell me how to achieve this after the latest patch? Tried editing text file for user settings but it just resets itself after I save with the new valuse.

It's kinda driving me crazy. If someone can solve this for me I would be so so so happy.
