Gear/Weapon Color Changes are Horrible, Please change back ZoS Team!

I'm not getting how this is a bad thing. Even as an RPer.

Presumably, you can make your own gear, yes? The old coloring is still there, it's just on a different level tier of armor.

not sure which one i like .... ill check i got about 5 outfits i switch in and out off ... i did notice it looks different ... is this why it keeps crashing ... i have had two crashes since the new version .... previouly i think the game only crashed 3 or 4 times in 2 months and two crashes now in 4 hours. grrrr.

The 'afters' looks so much better! The before images are all washed out and faded.

It's not that the after colors are horrible, it's just that the shade they decide upon kinda fade out many details while before the contrasts were more obvious.

I was also unpleasantly surprised by the color changes, and while I dont mind the Darker Colors in this regard, I spent the extra mats to upgrade my chest, shoulders, and gloves FOR the color difference, which is now NOT what I wanted.

Absolutely love the new looks, however this is sure to not please everyone. Just hold in there until we get dyeing.

I think the 2nd picture (the updated one) looks much more veteran and high end than the plain first picture. So, I disagree with the point of this thread. I like the changes.

Implementing dyes, as well as VR only dyes would be a great way to satisfy just about everyone however.

Make armor dyes and paints and let those who want to look gawdy in gold armor do so.

Armor's messed up. Animation's messed up (my Khajiit all turn their upper body to look at someone when I cursor over them). Even heard that some people's quests disappeared from their journals.

But, hey, at least we have Craglorn... right?!

I think its reprehensible that they made these changes to existing armors. I also hate the look of gold armor and agree with the above poster that it should be changed back. Also, whose idea was it to make spidersilk armor puke pink? Seriously.

I'm not sure if I like it yet or not. I like that armor of every type matches now, I really didn't like looking like a clown with one green piece, one purple piece, you get the idea...so my armor looks pretty cool imo. However I wouldn't want to see a bunch of silly brightly colored armor being commonplace; TES armors generally are realistic in color so I wouldn't want this game to start looking like WoW with vibrant cartoonishly colored armor sets.
